Today is Sunday, supposed to be our family or rest day. But, here we are, watching Tiger Bandits train. Almost 4 days at ngayon nasa 35 members na lang sila. They left dahil wala na rin naman na ang mga kasama nila.
I sighed, too exhausted. "Well done Brice, lima na lang hindi natin nakakausap." Pababa kami sa headquarter.
"Good job," He said. "About Sir Alexander-"
He stopped talking when we heard voices from the hallway. Hindi na rin kami nagtangkang maglakad pa palapit ni Brice kaya nagtago lang kami sa likuran ng pader.
Pamilyar ang boses na narinig ko pero ang tono ng pananalita niya ay bago sa'kin. Sabay kami nagtinginan ni Brice.
Someone clicked his tongue. "Bobo kasi nila Nico nung nakaraan. Ayun na nga eh, sasaksakin na lang. Nahuli pa." Bulong niya.
"Eh anong plano don? Marami na yata silang nalalaman."
"Isa pa 'yan si Alexander, baka may nilalabas na 'yan sa kanila."
Bumuntong hininga 'yung isa. "'D-Di natin pwede galawin 'yun."
"Alam ko," Nakarinig ako ng yapak."Sa dinami natin, siya pa nakarinig ng plano natin."
"Pinatay niya si Rodan, sigurado ko alam niya ang plano natin kay Rodan."
"Oo naman, pinatay niya 'yon kasi alam niyang si Rodan ang magsasabi na may droga dito..."
Droga? Napatingin ako kay Brice at nakitang naka kunot na rin ang noo niya.
"Edi paano natin mapapatalsik 'yang mga 'yan?" Maybe they're pertaining to us.
"Silidan ng droga sa sasakyan nila, tapos 'yang mga bata na 'yan."
"Sige sige... nasaan na ba nalagay 'yon?"
"Sa.....bahay ni Rodan."
My eyes widened! So that's why SIr Alexander wanted to kill Rodan in his own house. We need to get that drug in our hands first but... I don't know where it is.
When their voices died down and saw them enter the headquarters again, hindi ko mapigilan matawa. Damn, I was curious how we will learn the reason Sir Alexander killed Sir Rodan but here they are...blabbing their mouths.
"Aiby, let's go, we need to tell this to Earl." Ani ni Brice at muli na naglakad. "I know that we were thinking the same thing but.... Let's leave a space to doubt since they could also bait us."
I nodded.
We entered the headquarters and found Earl and Keith still training with the boys. From the other side, you could see Twilla and Iris teaching first aid. The other girls are busy watching them all, pasimpleng ginagaya rin.
Wala yata ang sampu na miyembro dito dahil kasama ni Aldo at Graig, driving lessons feat racing.
"Earl!" I called for him. I saw him turn to me, breathing hard.
Napatingin naman ako sa kabilang banda at nakitang nauna pang naglakad papunta sa'kin si Keith.
"Do you need something?" Keith asked me. Unlike Earl, his breathing is a bit calm but he's sweaty just like Earl is.
Probably, Earl was shouting na naman.
I shook my head. "I need to ask Earl about something." He nodded then went away again.
"Bakit?" Nasa harapan ko na si Earl.
Pinalapit ko pa siya lalo sa'min ni Brice. "Come here, it's a secret."
"I think," Brice fixed his glasses. "Tiger Bandits are involved in drugs.." He whispered.
"Eh?" Singhal ni Earl. "Putangina?"
