Chapter 105

AIBY POV

"Aiby," tawag sa'kin ni Kuya Kaito.

Lumingon ako sa kanya at nakitang nakatitig siya sa'kin. Nararamdaman niya sigurong lumilipad na naman ang isip ko.

He's seated in front of me wearing his pilot uniform. He came here straight after his special class dahil tuturuan niya ako sa proposal na ginagawa ko.

"Why kuya?" I asked innocently.

"You're spacing out. This part is important..." He pointed with his pen to the paper and underlined the important phases. "You need to understand this well or else, your own team will be lost."

I nodded then once again listened to him.

I know it already. Kuya Kaito is already attending the meeting on my behalf. Ever since last year's proposal, hindi na ko muling pinatawag. Siya ang pinili, 'yon lang.

Though, he told me to continue what I'm doing. His team is also my team. We're one in doing this proposal. He's teaching me and telling me the agenda each meeting and I will be the one doing the rest.

Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit niya pinapagawa sa'kin.

"I'll contact your team kapag umusad na 'ko dito.." inayos ko ang mga papeles sa lamesa ko. We've been studying for 4 hours. We should rest. "Sa kanya na ba ko dumiretso?"

As long as I can help, it's okay.

He nodded while fixing his sleeves. "Yes, alam na niya ang gagawin. Kasama ka na rin naman sa group chat, right?"

"Yes." I stood up. "Pahinga ka na kuya. Thank you for your time."

Tumayo na rin siya. "No problem, Aiby." Kinuha niya ang phone niyang kaninang asa bulsa. "I'll go to my room." Pinanood ko siyang lumabas habang nakatingin na siya sa phone.

"Maybe, a girl?" I mumbled to myself. I've been noticing that Kuya is always checking his phone.

I shrugged. Baka sila Kuya Ross lang 'yan.

Kailangan ko pumasok ng maaga dahil di-diretso ako sa office ni Miss. Kailangan ko kunin ang ibibigay niyang files sa'kin.

Hmm, it's the files of the meeting for our school vacation. Maybe Miss Corpuz decided to side with them and kept her mouth shut but she still gathered strong evidence.

"Miss," I entered her office. "Good morning, I'm here for the 'scores'." Ramdam ko ang lamig sa kanyang opisina.

She stood up gracefully with her model smile on her face. "Here," nilagay niya ang USB sa lamesa niya. "I've already checked your group's project. Your group got the highest score for my subject." She winked at me.

I smiled. "Thank you miss!" Kinuha ko ang USB sa lamesa.

She kept on nodding hanggang sa malagay ko ito sa bag ko.

"Punta na po ako sa class," paalam ko sa kanya.

She showed me the way. "Go," she said, still smiling.

Before closing the door, I gave the CCTV a one last quick glance. We heard na nag hihigpit sila sa mga CCTV footage, especially sa mga clips na present ang Echo. We're starting to become a threat to them.

I looked straight as I walked to the hallway.

Nag init muli ang dugo ko nang maalala ang mga desisyon nilang nagpahamak samin. But, they're still right. We will still choose the same course of action.

Pumasok ako sa aming room and I found them crowding behind Asra. Kausap na naman siguro nila sila ate Janna. Simula kasi nung bumalik na ang signal sa kanila, tinatawagan na namin ang isa't isa.
