*New Year's 2025*
Today is new year's, it's officially the year 2025. Tomorrow will be Colby's birthday, so I want to do something special for him. I thought of the perfect thing we could do was visit Jeju Island together. I'm still on winter vacation from college, so I have about a week before I have to go back to school. I go back to school on January 6th. Colby and I hop on a bullet train that takes us to Busan. From Busan, we take a small plane to Jeju-do. This place is a small, beautiful island off the cost of mainland Korea.

Once arriving to Jeju, we head to our hotel. The hotel that we're staying at on Jeju is called Grand Hyatt Jeju. Our room is the luxury room, just as a special treat for Colby. Our room is ginormous, and it's beautiful. The room costs $356 a night, which is sacrifice enough just to treat Colby to something special. The bathroom has a huge bathtub. The shower has an overhead shower head, that makes it feel like it's raining. The bed is a king sized bed, so there's plenty of room for activities, if you know what I mean. The hotel comes with a beautiful swimming pool that has crystal clear water. The restaurants in the hotel are 5-star rated. They serve delicious food.

Once walking into the hotel room, Colby's jaw drops.
"Whoa, this place is beautiful, babe." Colby said.
"I can't wait to spend the week at this beautiful hotel with you." I said.
"You said it's how much a night?" Colby asked.
"Ah, it's $356 a night or ₩450,975.46 a night. For the next 7 nights, it'll cost a total of $2,492 for the week." I said.
"Babe, you should have told me it was so expensive. I could have helped paying for it." Colby said.
"It's okay. I have student loans and scholarships that are helping me cover my entire study abroad program for the year. I can use some of it for vacations like this one." I said.
"You're supposed to be using those for university, not a vacation. Here, I'll go to the front desk and cancel the payment on your card, and I'll pay for it." Colby said.
"You really don't have to." I said.
"Please, I don't want you spending $3,000 on a hotel." Colby said.
"Alright, fine. Go ahead." I said.

Colby leaves the hotel room. He goes down to the front desk and cancels the payment on my card. The refund should return to my card within 3-5 business days. Colby pays for the week at the hotel. Once he finishes the payment, he comes back to our room.
"Now that that's all said and done, let's celebrate with some champagne." Colby said.
"Oh, baby. You should know this, I don't drink." I said.
"Ah, that's right. That means more for me." Colby said with a cheeky wink.
"Go ahead. Drink all the champagne you please." I said.
"I thought you didn't want me drinking either." Colby said.
"That's true, but this week, we're celebrating you, babe. You're allowed to drink this time." I said.
"Sick." Colby said, pouring himself a glass of champagne.

That same evening, Colby is feeling a little buzzed and tipsy. I ran a warm bath complete with bath bombs. I climb into the bathtub, enjoying the warm water. Colby stumbles into the bathroom and sees me soaking in the bathtub.
"Baby girl, lemme join you." Colby said.
"Yes, please." I said.
Colby strips down to nothing and climbs into the bathtub to join me in my bath. Good thing this bathtub is ginormous and can comfortably fit 2 people.
