Chapter 15

*The Reception Party*
Once all the wedding guests arrive to the reception party venue, my bridesmaids put together an awesome performance of which they are collaborating on. My bridesmaids being; Yeji, Jeon Somi, AleXa, Rosé, Hwasa, and Nancy. These girls have put together a mashup of each of their songs. Those songs include; Xtra by AleXa, XOXO by Jeon Somi, On The Ground by Rosé, Maria by Hwasa, and Bboom Bboom by MOMOLAND. Yeji surprised me as she can sing and dance very well. The girls also put together a mashup of the choreography from each of the songs. This performance is blowing my mind. All these girls are so talented, oh wow.

When the girls finish their performance, it's time for the guys to hit the stage. I invited ATEEZ to my wedding, so they'll be performing a short set of 3 songs. I got to choose the set list; Deja Vu, Wave, and Dancing Like Butterfly Wings. ATEEZ start with Deja Vu, and seemingly transition into Wave. That transition from those two songs was smooth. Their performance of Deja Vu was almost too sexy. Then, the transition into Wave was kinda funny. It went from a sexy concept to a cute concept. The transition from Wave to Dancing Like Butterfly Wings was super smooth too. ATEEZ finish their short set of songs.

Then, I ask Eric to perform a few of my favorite songs of his. The first Eric Nam song I ever heard was Honestly, then followed by Runaway. I asked Eric to perform those 2 songs, then he could choose a set of 3 songs of his liking. Eric chose the songs; Paradise, I Don't Know You Anymore, and Any Other Way. I love those songs so much. It reminds me of when I first saw Eric in concert 3 years ago. When Eric finishes his performance, I suggest that Colby sings his original song titled Skin. Colby caves and sings his emo, pop-punk hit song.

When Colby finishes singing his song, I cover one of AleXa's songs titled TATTOO. I think it describes Colby perfectly. As I'm singing TATTOO, AleXa smiles as I slay her song.
"You get it, girl!" AleXa exclaimed.
I finish singing TATTOO, then join Colby back at our couple table. The next activity for the reception party is a Q&A section. Colby and I sit in two chairs in front of our guests. The Q&A section will include questions from our guests. The first question comes from my maid of honor, Coni.
"I am genuinely curious, how did you guys meet?" Coni asked.
"This is kind of a funny story. The year was 2023. I was new to LA. I had just transferred to UCLA from UNR. Bored out of my mind, I went to a random house party. There, I spotted this handsome devil. He looked awfully familiar, so I introduced myself. Turns out, it was Colby Brock who I had met. I had been a fan of him since 2018. This is a story of how a fan became a lover. Now, a few years later; here we are, 2 years later, married, with a handsome son." I said.
"My first impression of her was that she was incredibly beautiful. Her personality was unlike any girl I'd ever met in LA. She seemed like the most genuine girl I've ever met. I just fell in love with her. From that moment on, it was love at first sight. I just knew that she was the one I was going to marry." Colby said.
"Aww." Coni said.
"Next question, please." I said.

The next question comes from Colby's brother, Gage.
"My question is; where did you go on your first date?" Gage asked.
"Why don't you answer this one, baby." I said.
"We went to Tender Greens, then I took her out to my favorite lookout point in the Hollywood Hills. I thought it was the perfect first date." Colby said.
"Aww, that's really romantic, bro." Gage said.
"I'd like to think so." Colby said, laughing.
The next question is from my mom,
"When did you know he was, 'the one,'?" Mom asked.
"I knew he was the one when he genuinely cared for me. He showed that he would never cheat on me, nor would he ever leave my side for anyone else. That's when I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him." I said.
"Aww, thanks babe." Colby said, kissing my cheek.
"You're welcome, babe." I said.
The next question is from my brother, Frank.
"Who is the better kisser?" Frank asked.
"He's definitely the better kisser. He's really good at Frenching." I said.
"No way, you're the better kisser." Colby said.
"Babe, trust me. You're the better kisser." I said.
"Okay, let's not argue about this." Sam said.
"Right, fine. Let's stop it here." I said.
"You're right, it was a stupid argument." Colby said.

The last question was from Colby's mom, Lesa,
"What would you say my son's best feature is?"
"I honestly love Colby's dimples. His dimples are really cute. Whenever he smiles, they show up, and ugh. He's got such a beautiful smile. Another feature on Colby I like is probably his rose tattoo. I've been wanting to get a tattoo, and I wanna get a rose tattoo on my left forearm with the ATEEZ song lyrics; '너와 나의 Promise', wrapping underneath, going around the stem of the rose." I said.
"Wow, thanks babe. That's also a great tattoo idea." Colby said.
"I've also been wanting to get a lip ring piercing." I said.
"You should, you'd look so hot." Colby said.
"Wow, thanks babe." I said, kissing him.
"If that's all the questions, then this party has now come to an end." Colby said.
"Thanks for coming, everyone. 너무 감사합니다, 모두들! 안영히가세요!!" I exclaimed(Thank you so much, everyone. Goodbye!)
