its august 7th. that means only one thing to me. my birthday is in a month. im happy as hell. im spending the day i was born with 2 little ones growing inside me.
today i had a doctors appointment to check in on the girls. i dont know how but we ended up sticking with nurse jackie, shes so sweet and funny. she told us that i entered my 3rd trimester but it was starting to look like a 4th.
we couldnt help but to laugh at that cause aint no way im that damn big already. i cant believe time has been flying so fast. its really time that we start to brainstorm names already.
i remember just finding out about them. i remember making them too. definitely worth it.
billie thought it would be nice to treat me afterwards. just something small nothing too crazy. right now we are out with shark. we knew i wasnt going to be able to walk around for long, so we went out for ice cream.
since shark is still a puppy and is damn near scared of everything he was able to come inside. billie ordered our treats while i sat with shark keeping him company.
it smelled so good inside, ive always love coldstone. it takes me back to my childhood days. papa and i would come all the time. ma dre only took me sometimes, she usually took me to get mani-pedis.
"selene!" billie snapped her fingers in my face, "are you ok? ive been calling you for a while. i forgot your order."
"oh im sorry i was just catching flashbacks of this place. i came here alot when i was younger, a different location of course. but i want vanilla ice cream one side with oreo cookie crumbles and the other has sprinkles."
"ok ill be back. thank god its slow today, i thought i was gonna have to get in the back of the line. woulda been pissed off." she chuckled while walking off. she stopped at the counter and ordered our things. i can see the girl scooping ice cream. pouring the toppings.
billie is literally a big ass kid, gummy bears on ice cream is crazy.
after a while she came back to me. she knew i wanted the waffle bowl inside the actual bowl. love that she know that. "this looks soo good." i looked at it with hungry eyes. i reached for it but billie pulled it back.
with taunting eyes she said this,"ah ah ah, what do you say to the girl who put together both cribs without any help whatsoever?" she smiled.
she has been so proud of her success with putting the two cribs together. its the cutest thing ever.
at first glance you would think billie was a stone cold bitch. her resting bitch face does not help that case whatsoever. but boy is she the opposite. maybe she was back then but shit i would never know. i warmed and softened that heart the second i walked into her life.
