Who's That Guy?

|Hunter's P O V|
I look at the building, the sign says 'The Next Step' so I guess I have the right place. I open the doors and walk into a hallway, the sign says 'Studio A' and that's where the auditions are, so I better go there I guess. I walked down the hallway and into the studio. It was empty, is this the right place?
"Hey, auditions start in an hour." I heard a female voice say, I turned around. A girl with ashy blonde hair tied back in a braid crown thing, blue eyes, fair skin, wearing a blue top and black shorts walked up to me. She shook my hand and introduced herself, "My name is Emily, I'm the dance captain here, well, co-dance captain." She gave me a warm, welcoming smile.
"My name is Hunter, nice to meet you. I guess I'll be back in an hour then."
"See you later then Hunter." she smiled and waved. Emily seems sweet, maybe we can be friends if I make the team. I walk out of the studio, what do I do for a whole hour? I see a sign pointing to a set of stairs, the sign reads 'Culture Shock', I guess it's some sort of store? I walk down the stairs, it looks like a weird cafe. I sit down on a couch and go on my phone. I try calling Michelle, she won't pick up. I used to dance with Michelle back in Wisconsin, we were super close friends. When I moved here a week ago she told me her studio was holding auditions, she was supposed to meet me here beforehand, but she never showed up.
"Are you here to audition?" I hear a male voice say. I look up from my phone, a tall blonde guy looked down at me.
"Yeah dude, my name's Hunter by the way." the guy sat on the other end of the couch beside me. "My name's Eldon, nice to meet you man."
He shook my hand, "What style of dance do you do?" Eldon asked.
"I do hip-hop and breakdancing mostly, what about you?"
"Cool man, I do contemporary."
Contemporary, I wonder if he's any good?
"Is The Next Step a contemporary studio?"
Eldon took a moment to respond,
"No... well sort of? It's more of a mixed studio."
"Oh, Michelle never told me that..."
Eldon's eyes widened, "You know Michelle?" I nodded, "Yeah, we were good friends back in Wisconsin."
"Really? You're from Wisconsin?" Eldon asked.
"Yeah, I moved here a week ago." I responded.
Eldon put his hand on my shoulder, "Well dude, good luck, I gotta go now. See ya later." Eldon walked out of Culture shock. I took a deep breath, I had a weird feeling in my stomach, I just tried to shake it off and I texted Michelle again, 5 minutes later, still no response. I picked up a sports magazine and read through it, I looked up at the clock, how long have I been in here for? I walk up the stairs to the studio, I looked inside the studio, there's a group of people in there, shit the auditions must have started already. I quietly snuck into the studio and joined the group, I stood beside Michelle and she gave me a smile. The studio owner kept talking and talking until finally it was audition time.
"Okay so in group 1 we have James, Cass, Tiffany, Riley and Thalia."
I'm relieved I was not called for the first group. A guy in a blue shirt started to dance, I think his name is James. By the applause I assume he's a member of the studio already. I'm threatened but at the same time glad he's doing breakdancing, at least I'm not the only one now. One by one the rest of the group did their solo's, they were impressive, I know I have major competition.

|Eldon's P O V|
"Lets have group 2 on the floor, which is Eldon, Beth, Jake, Daniel and Sarah." Miss Kate said.
I walked up to the center of the room and started to do my solo, it's no big deal to me, I'm pretty confident in my solo. After doing my final jump I turn around and head back into line. I think that went pretty well. I look behind me to see the Hunter guy I met earlier, he gave me a thumbs up. This made me feel really good, I definately think I'm gonna make it to round 2. After my group finished I went to a bench and sat down. Hunter walked to the audition line and smiled at me, I suddenly felt warm inside. I look over to Michelle and she raised her eyebrow at me. I quickly turned my attention back to the auditions, Hunter is dancing, he is about at the same skill level as James. He threw in a few tricks and it just made his audition so great, I think he'll make it to the next round for sure, at least I hope he does. When his group was done he sat on the bench next to me. We watched the rest of the solos, we didn't really talk much, but it was still nice having him sit next to me. Usually I don't develop romantic feelings easily, I pretend I do, but I really don't. I've never really been romantically attracted to many guys before, it just takes that special someone, and Hunter is impressing me so far. I have to be careful though, I still am not ready to come out and if I show too much interest towards him I'm afraid people will start assuming things. After the rest of the auditions happened, Miss Kate told us to come back in an hour for the results. What am I supposed to do for an hour? Maybe I'll hang out with Michelle, that should keep my mind off him. I just met this guy, I can't rush into things. I got up to talk to Michelle,
"Hey Michelle." Michelle smiled, "Hey Eldon, I see you've made a new friend." We both look over to Hunter who's talking with a group of other auditioners. "He said he knows you Michelle." Michelle nodded, "Yeah, we're close friends." I sort of paused for a second, not knowing what to say next.
"So, do you like him?" Michelle said jokingly, I nervously laughed.
"Umm..." I choked momentarily, Michele raised her eyebrow, I sighed. I know she knows. "Yeah, kinda." I admitted. Michelle smiled, "I knew it." she said proudly. Maybe Michelle knows if he's gay because if he is, I think I might have a chance.
"Do you know if he's, like, gay?" I nervously asked her. Michelle furrowed her eyebrows, "He never told me if he was or not, so I don't know, but, he's never had a girlfriend that I know of and he never talks about girls at all to me, so, I think he might be, but I'm not sure."
He's that cute and he's NEVER had a girlfriend? That sounds like good news.
I began to smile, "Cool, so I might have a shot with him?" Michelle laughed, "Maybe, go to talk to him." she suggested. I don't want to come of as clingy, so I really don't want to go alone. "Please come with me Michelle. Emily's talking to him right now let's go." I pleaded. Michelle looked back at them, her face fell. "I don't know if that's a good idea..." she said.
I can tell what Michelle is thinking, but I'm 100% sure that Emily likes her back, which reminds me, I should put that plan of mine into action. Maybe getting Michelle and Emily together will be a good distraction from this Hunter guy.
