Everything is Lost

|Emily's P O V|
This is it, this is it. Riley is about to start dancing. I wish that this didn't have to happen, but it does. I watch Riley start her solo, anxiously waiting for the signal, the signal that will ruin my life. I keep watching Riley dance, I'm sweaty, my heart is racing, I don't want to do this. Everything I worked so hard for is about to disappear. I see Riley give me the signal and my heart drops. I take a deep breath and block out my thoughts, I just start yelling.
"Riley what are you doing? That's terrible! Get it together!" I yell, I don't look at anyone else, just at Riley.
Riley stops dancing, "What are you doing?"
"What am I doing? What are you doing? What is this?" I angrily yell at her,
"Emily you need to calm down." West says, I give him and angry glare, "And you need to sit down." I retort.
I see people coming towards me, Riley runs out. I'm just gonna have to take this, the pain will be worth it in the end.
"Emily what's going on with you? You're being really rude." Chloe says, I can see the anger in all of their eyes, except Hunter, who I told about this in advance.
"Shut up, nobody asked for your opinion." I snap back at her.
"Emily!" Giselle yells.
I look around, it's seven against one, this isn't going to end well.
"Emily calm down." Eldon says.
"I knew you hadn't changed, I knew the old Emily was still around, you just used the new Emily to become captain again." Giselle says.
"Yeah, you never changed, I knew it." Chloe said.
It felt like a million knives just stabbed me in the back... they really thought I hadn't changed... none of them ever believed me, none of them.
I get truly angry, I really did change, I worked so hard to improve myself and I'm here right now SAVING THEM and they thought that I hadn't changed. They're gonna be sorry when they see I'm helping them.
"Who sharpened your tongue? I could only take so much more of all of your bullshit before I finally snapped." I say, clenching my fists so I don't suddenly lose control and punch the lights out of her.
"I hate all of you. I've always hated all of you, you treat me like shit and make a plan behind my back and literally break me, I have a right to be mad. Just because you couldn't handle tough love didn't mean you all had to stab me in the back." I say, addressing all of them.
"Maybe we wouldn't of done that if you weren't such a raging bitch." James says.
"Shut up you worthless piece of trash." I yell at James.
"Emily stop you're going too far." Eldon says.
"Maybe we should just calm down, Emily probably doesn't mean what she's saying, she's just having a bad day. We all just need to calm down." Hunter says.
"No, she's a real evil person, poor Riley, I can't believe you did that to her." Thalia says.
"Shut up you irrelevant, annoying, piece of crap. I hate Riley so she deserved it, I understand why James cheated, she isn't worth anything." I say trying even harder to prove to Amanda that I hate them all and want to join her. It truly hurts me to say such terrible things, it really does. I want to go hug Riley right now and say sorry a million times.
"You are terrible... a terrible terrible person? Such a fake girl too." Chloe says.
All of a sudden it seems like all of them start to shout at me, I shout back,
and Miss Kate finally steps up after standing there stunned for a good few minutes.
"What is going on! Stop yelling." she says.
"Get her out she's insane."
"Emily is being really out of line."
"She's a monster."
are just a  few of the things that are said to Miss Kate in this moment.
"Emily why are you doing this? You need to stop." Miss Kate tells me sternly.
"Or else what, you're gonna kick me out, get down to nine dancers. I want that for you, this studio deserves to lose anyways." I say, staring Miss Kate dead in the eye.
"No, you're staying on this team. But you are no longer dance captain, go cool off, now."
I give one last look to everyone in the room.
"I couldn't care less." I say, then finally walk out of the room into the hallway,
everyone yelling at me and clapping when I leave.
As I enter the hallway I start to cry, tears just start rushing and I latch onto Riley, pulling her in for a hug.
"That was amazing, I'm so, so sorry Emily." Riley says.
"I brought our stuff in the hallway so we can just leave now"
Riley says and I nod, crying, walking to the car.
"They said they never believed I changed. They always thought I was still old Emily." I say, my voice shaking.
"I heard. They were probably just mad. Let's go." Riley says.

|Hunter's P O V|
Everyone is super angry after what just happened with Emily, I know it was fake, but it was intense. She really can act. Miss Kate is letting us leave, but I guess everyone just needed to talk about the chaos that just happened so we're all sitting in a circle, talking.
I stay silent, I'm not gonna join in and insult her knowing that she lost everything for a good reason, I don't know what she's trying to save the team from, but if this is how she has to go about it, I guess I have trust her.
"She just, she just makes me so mad." Giselle says.
"This came out of nowhere, she was all happy this morning and suddenly she just lost it." West says.
"She probably has had all of that rage bottled up for the past few months and she just let it out. She was just playing us the last few months, she never really changed. It was all an act." Chloe says.
James looks at me, "Dude why did you defend her? That isn't cool." James says.
All eyes are suddenly on me and the room goes dead silent.
"Um, well I just wanted to calm everyone down, I wasn't really trying to stick up for her." I say.
"Nothing's ever calm with Emily. Even at Elite she was so, passive aggressive, she constantly talked shit about you guys, I always wondered what happened that made her so angry." Amanda says.
"She isn't the victim. She caused every bad thing that's ever happened here. She was and is still a terrible person. If Michelle somehow miraculously decides to come back we need to kick Emily off or at least make her a sub." Chloe says.
"Even when she was rude all the time back then, she was never this ruthless." Giselle says.
I've had enough,
"Can we just not all attack her Monday. We should just leave her alone so we can at least keep working. Let's just see if she's back to happy or if she's still bitter. It could've been a bad day, you never know." I say, trying to protect Emily.
"Whatever. Let's just have things go back to normal and just put this behind us. We can't risk losing Nationals over her." Thalia says.
Everyone seems to agree so we gradually get up and leave.
I know Emily will still be bitter Monday, she has to be, it's her act. I don't know why she's doing this, but she said it was to save the studio, so I guess I trust her.
