What's Wrong?

|Michelle's P O V|
The auditioners stood in a group. Miss Kate, Phoebe, Emily and I have the final results for the Nationals team. I look over at Emily, I can't tell if she's angry with me. She got mad when we voted for Amanda to be on the team. She kept insisting that Amanda is bad news, but I think she will be a great addition to the team. Emily won't look at me, and it makes me really upset. We were getting along well and then this happens. I sigh, the results are being announced as I'm thinking about all of this. I look at the crowd of auditioners, I know every Next Step member except Stephanie and Tiffany made it. I feel bad for them, but Stephanie didn't know the number and Tiffany just wasn't good enough. But, with them leaving, we get great team members like Thalia, Amanda and Hunter. I look at Eldon's face when Hunter's name is announced. His face lit up. I think it's cute that he likes Hunter. Hunter was one of my closest friends back in Madison and I can't wait to catch up with him here now that he's a part of our team. I haven't come out to Hunter yet, I was planning to, but then I found out I had to leave Madison, so I never did. Maybe if we reconnect well enough here, I'll tell him. Maybe if I come out to him, he'll come out to me. I think Hunter is gay, well at least I hope he is because that way he won't go for Emily. Emily and Hunter have talked several times today and I'm scared that she likes him, I know she could just be being friendly, but I can't help but feel threatened.
"Michelle, are you okay?" I hear someone say, I must have zoned out from what was happening. I look up to see Emily, she looks concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I answer. Emily smiles, "Good, I was wondering if you wanna hang out with Hunter, Eldon and I?" Emily said.
"Are you mad at me?" I blurted out, Emily's started to laugh, "No, of course not. Now, are you coming with us or not?" Emily's hand was on my bare shoulder, her hand was cold, but it felt really nice. "Y-yeah, yeah. I'll go." Emily smiled when I said that.
"Good, now come on, the boys are waiting."
I went with Emily to Hunter and Eldon. I walked on the end beside Eldon. I feel comfortable around Eldon, like I don't have to worry around him. Eldon looked at me and mouthed 'Why aren't you beside Emily?', I sighed, 'I'm too nervous.'
We walked into Culture Shock and sat down on the couch area. I sat on a chair opposite Emily, while Hunter and Eldon sat on a couch together. At first it was just Hunter, Eldon and Emily talking, I just sort of sat there. There's something really bothering me right now, and I'm not in the mood to talk.

|Hunter's P O V|
I look over at Michelle, she isn't talking. I need to talk to her alone, but I really don't know how to go about it.
"I'm gonna go get us all drinks, Michelle, can you come help me carry some? I only have two hands."
Michelle quickly got up and walked with me to the counter.
"Is everything okay?" I ask her, she bit her lip. "Yeah, I'm good, I gotta go." Michelle walked out of Culture Shock leaving me confused. I have no idea what's up with her. I look over to Eldon and Emily who are motioning for me to come over there. I walk back to the couches and sit where Michelle was sitting.
"What happened?" Eldon asked me,
"I don't know, I only asked her if she was okay and she just bolted."
"Do you know where she went?" Emily asked. I shook my head, "No, she just left. Do any of you know what's wrong?" I asked, Emily shook her head, we both looked at Eldon who didn't respond. "Yeah." Eldon admitted quietly. Emily's eyes widened, "What is it?" she asked.
Eldon paused, "I can't say what it is..."
Emily sighed, "Why not? We're all her friends and I won't tell anyone."
Eldon shook his head, "I just can't..."
"Fine." Emily said angrily, she stormed out of Culture Shock.
"Girls are so frustrating." Eldon said.
Yeah that's why I don't date them...
"Yeah, they're complicated man." I said.
"So, any girls you're interested in here?" Eldon asked.
"Naw dude, none of them are my type, what about you?" I said.
"Umm, no." Eldon shook his head.
He doesn't like any girls? The girls here are pretty and they seem nice. Could he be gay? I hope so, there weren't really many gay guys in Madison, it would be great if I could find a boyfriend here.
"Cool, cool. So are you close with Michelle?" I ask.
"Yeah, we're good friends." Eldon answered.
"Do you know what's up with her?" I asked.
"Umm, yeah. I don't think I can say anything... But you can ask her though." Eldon said.
I don't really know what's up with Michelle, I guess asking her won't hurt.
"I guess I will. Gotta go dude."
I rushed out of Culture Shock to find Michelle.
I went down the hallway to check Studio A, she isn't in here. I walk into Studio B, she isn't in here either, I see a closet door slightly opened, there is a doorstop keeping the door open. I hesitantly walk towards it, could Michelle be in here? I open it enough so I could see through it. I see Michelle sitting in there alone, so I open the door, put back the doorstop and walk in.
"Hey Michelle, what's up?"
Michelle jumped when she heard me talk.
"God you scared me Hunter." Michelle said breathing heavily.
"Sorry." I took a seat beside her.
"What's wrong? Why did you run out?" Michelle has her eyes glued to the floor,
"If I tell you something, will you promise to keep it a secret?" Michelle said.
"Of course Michelle... you can trust me, I promise."
I have no idea what she is about to tell me, so I have to be prepared for anything.
"I-I... I, I like Emily, and I d-don't think she likes me back and all I want is her and I just-" Michelle burst into tears, she had her head buried into her hands and she kept apologizing and apologizing to me.
"Michelle, it's okay. Everything is gonna be okay." Michelle got up and I got up, she hugged me, crying into my shoulder. I could feel her tears going right through my t-shirt.
"It's okay." I say one last time.
"Thank you." Michelle choked out.
