"can I sit here?" I asked pointing down at the seat next to some random girl.

" yeah sure" she said moving her bag and coat from the seat.

The girl was quite tan. She had long wavy brown hair and these gorgeous green eyes. I would kill to look like her omg.

The train was so full but luckily I got the last seat in the back corner next to her.

After about 2 minutes of sitting and looking at my phone I decided to shoot my shot and try to be friends with her , she looked to be about the same age as me.

"My name is Lexi by the way, Lexi green." I said holding my hand out.

You might be confused as to why I didn't tell her my real name and that was because I can't let anyone know that I am the princess or they might call the guards.

"Hi Lexi, I'm Harper Martin." She replied turning to face me and shaking my hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Harper, Where are you heading Harper?" I asked trying to continue the conversation.

"I'm heading to my friend James' party in Heaven Falls, come to think of it I don't wanna show up by myself, wanna come?" She said

"I'd love to." This is great, maybe I'll be able to make some new friends at the party.

...

Something about us just clicked and we then spent the next 3 and a half hours on the train laughing, singing, listening to music and telling each other about ourselves.

I hadn't felt this happy in a long time, it was amazing to finally have a smile on my face again.

Harper seemed like a really cool person as well. I learned she loves to surf which is always a good sign and she love to party. She's surfer nice and her parents are super chill so she can get away with practically anything.

...

We hoped off the train and started walking up the stairs to the parking lot.

"My mum is gonna pick us up and take us to my place so we can get ready." She said pulling out her phone. "You definitely can't go in that" she said pointing up and down at my outfit

"Hey wants wrong with my outfit" I said defensively.

"There's nothing wrong with it, it just not party appropriate." She replied

"Fair enough, I mean who wear tracksuit pants and a hoodie to a party." I laughed

"No one." She replied as she walked over to her mums car.

She walked with so much confidence, like she had no fear in the world she couldn't give a fuck what people thought of her.

It was impressive.

Her mum was waiting out the front of the train station for us, It kinda felt weird not having a driver open the door for me but I guess I'm gonna have to get used to it.
