"... Have you seen him during that song? He was looking so dreamy. You know, he has always been my favourite. My life would be complete if I ever get to meet him. Like really. The last dialogue was so awesome..."

Karan rolled his eyes at her chattering. From past hour, when they had been eating in a restaurant, she had been bickering over the movie of her favourite actor.

He remembered how she had jumped in happiness when he told her about the movie. He had eavesdropped her conversation with Kritika last week. They had watched the trailer and Preeta was too damn excited then. He had locked it in his mind that he would surprise her.

But it felt as if someone had exchanged body with his wife. She hadn't been silent for even a minute. But he was glad that she had forgotten everything and was enjoying.

He had reserved the luxurious seats and seen the wide smile on her face. He could smile again and again remembering how they had kissed in between during romantic scenes. He had always been doubtful if she liked his company but his all doubts were cleared. She was happy with him.

Moreover, he was amazed as he had seen her true shades today. She could laugh at lame dialogues of her favourite actor, she could smile at him lovingly like a romantic-novels' lover when she felt like doing it, she could plead him to eat from her favourite restaurant. Never have, he had thought if she would be that normal with him someday.

Not just these little acts, he loved how she blushed when he would possessively hold her hand-she would shyly bit her lip, push her strands behind the ear. When he had given her an irritating look because of her dreamy sigh at the actor, she had pinched his cheeks and had called him, her adorable-jealous husband.

Was this possible? He felt like a love-sick teenager. He had no shame in admitting that he was falling for her again and again. He just wished for the day when she would too admit her love for him.

Because right now, she herself didn't know about it.

Getting out of the parking area, he stopped the bike beside her and waited for her to sit. But suddenly, he felt a kiss on his cheek.

His eyes turned on his wife who was smiling sheepishly at him. "Thank you so much, Karan. The movie was awesome and watching it with you, was perfect." She spoke softly.

He could swear that his heart fluttered at her words. His neck felt warm all of a sudden. Nodding briefly, he started the bike.

"Get on."

He saw her shaking her head. "First, tell me that you'll be slow."

Karan looked at her and noticed, the evening had turned dark. It would be fun to get the soothing air while driving through his favourite road.

He thoughtfully said,"Fine. Now, will you please, my lady?"

"Yes, thank you." She chuckled while sitting behind him. Wrapping her arms around him, she breathed out and finally, Karan rode away while smiling like a little school boy, still feeling the tingles on his cheek.

________

"Karan, I feel like we are teenagers and we have bunked classes to enjoy the time of our life."

Karan chuckled while riding the bike at a normal pace. The evening air was blowing his face and he could feel that Preeta too was enjoying.

She wasn't shrieking anymore, nor she was being a loser. She was gently holding his sides and had leant her face on his back near his shoulder.

The big lights were lit at the division on the road and were mixing with the moonlight. The area was calm, the trees at the either side of the road were swaying slowly with the air. From past minutes, they had been riding on this part of the town and it was the most luxurious moment.
