A/n: Hello folks

The full moon glittered in the night sky as ThunderClan cats came out of dens. An orange cat with emerald green eyes jumped onto the Highrock. 

"Lionpaw, Hollypaw, Ap/n, Brightheart, Dustpelt, Sandstorm, Brackenfur, Honeypaw, Poppypaw, Spiderleg, Birchfall, Ashfur." Firestar called the cats who were going to the Gathering.

"Yes!" you whispered quietly to yourself. Lionpaw and Hollypaw looked excited as you were too. 

"Meeting dismissed." Firestar said before jumping of the Highrock gracefully and walking to Sandstorm.

"Our first Gathering!" Lionpaw said to you and Hollypaw. 

"Too bad Jaypaw isn't coming." You said, glancing to the grey colored cat padding back to the medicine cat den with Leafpool. 

"He'll be fine, I suppose." Lionpaw said, narrowing his eyes.

"Hey, let's share some prey." Hollypaw was trotting back to them with a squirrel and a sparrow in her jaws. 

"I'll ask Jaypaw to share." Lionpaw mewed. He padded away to get his grumpy brother.

You grabbed the sparrow and sat down at the entrance of the apprentices den.

"What? Oh, yeah I'm hungry." Jaypaw's expression slightly brightened when he saw the prey they were about to eat. Slightly. 

"I'll share with Hollypaw." Lionpaw mewed quickly.

"Fine." You happily scooted over for Jaypaw to sit down. He uncomfortably sat down beside you, blushing lightly as his fur brushed yours. 

You bent your head down to take a bite out of the feathery creature. The prey filled your empty stomach for the Gathering. 

"Hey um, I really wanted you to go to the Gathering." You mumbled to Jaypaw through your mouthful of bird.

"Thanks. But it's not your fault." Jaypaw said after gulping meat and feathers down. 

"What do you do when you're not going to the Gathering?" You asked Lionpaw. 

"I don't know. Maybe warriors just talk to each other or sleep." 

"I'm going to be sorting herbs the whole time, which is the most boring thing to do in the forest." Jaypaw grumbled.

"The most boring thing is- is-" Hollypaw struggled. 

"What Jaypaw said." You mewed. 

"Get WRECKED." Lionpaw tried not to laugh. 

"Let's go." Firestar led his clan into the forest. You rose up with Hollypaw and Lionpaw, leaving Jaypaw with the half-finished prey. 

"There must be loads of cats." You whispered to your friends. 

"Yes. A ton from each Clan." Brackenfur replied, clearly hearing their conversation. 

"Don't eavesdrop." You snapped to him. 

"Don't snap at me." Brackenfur said playfully. 

"Don't talk back." Lionpaw said. 

"Don't talk back, you're younger than me." Brackenfur shot at him. 

"Shut up!" Brightheart called to us. You snickered as the tree bridge came up. 

"You first." Lionpaw said to you. You nodded and made your way through the crowd. Another scent, WindClan, reached your nostrils.

"Onestar." Firestar said to the WindClan leader.
