You woke up to a comforting cold. You were lying in a dark cave, the cold stone freezing your paws. You jumped up and felt moonlight on your fur. It was nice.

"Wait, how do you feel moonlight...?" you talked aloud. Maybe it's my power.

"Young one." a smooth and old voice called from behind. It echoed in the dark cave. You're claws unsheathed and your ears flattened.

"Who are you?" you mewed back loudly.

"Keep your voice down." the speaker stood in the soft moonlight. It was a cat, and with more detail, Stoneteller.

"I'm dreaming, aren't I?" you said immediately.

"Yes. The Tribe of Endless Hunting gave me signs of your presence." Stoneteller's eyes twinkled. "But I see no reason for you to be here."

"I don't know how I got here." you shrugged. "I can't control what I dream."

"You can now. You are conscious here." Stoneteller replied simply. You sheathed your claws and sat down.

"Follow me." Stoneteller started to pad out of the cave. You followed him out and was met with frantic cats.

"This is your Clan right?" you asked.

"Tribe." he corrected.

"Stoneteller, I'm sending out a hunting party near the bare trees." a Tribe cat said.

"Very well." Stoneteller called back. "That was Talon of Swooping Eagle. A cave-guard."

"Cave-guard... they do the fighting and guarding? More stronger and powerful?" you guessed. Luckily, no other cat can see you.

"Yes. The prey-hunters hunt the prey. Slim and strong legs for hunting. Patience and skill." Stoneteller rumbled.

"Interesting." you wondered why Tribe cats couldn't learn both skills; it would be far more beneficial.

"The to-bes learn what they are going to be." Stoneteller nosed to a group of young cats, about six to eleven moons.

"Apprentices!" you exclaimed. You recognised the different body shapes in each of them, some strong and stiff while others lithe and graceful.

"Perhaps in your Clans, they are apprentices." Stoneteller mewed. "We have different tradition."

"Do I look like a cave-guard or prey-hunter?" you asked him.

"Neither." Stoneteller murmured. You felt confused.

"What do you-" you stopped short when a beautiful silver-gray she-cat ran into Stoneteller's cave.

"Sorry." you ran into the cave, leaving Stoneteller to talk to Crag Where Eagles Nest.

"Hey- wait!" you yelled after the she-cat. She didn't look like any Tribe cat, which was piqued your interest.

The silver she-cat looked back towards you and then sped off into a pool.

You skidded to a halt. That cat was a spirit, and you were gonna find out who. You braced your self and then jumped into the mystic pool.

You felt the pool deepen, but it was not very deep from the outside. You kept sinking and sinking for minutes, but your breath didn't run short.

When you stop, you hit the ground with a bunch of rocks. You spotted the silver gray she cat chasing a vole.

"Wait up." you ran and bounded over the rocks and met the she-cat. Alarm sparked in her eyes.

"Are you a StarClan cat?" you breathed to her.
