Your POV

The sun was setting low across the sky, and Firestar was getting on the Highledge.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Highledge for a Clan meeting!" Firestar called out. Cats began to emerge from their dens and head towards the middle of camp in front of the Highledge.

"We have an apprentice here who passed their warrior assessment." Firestar said. You felt your quivering with excitement as you stood up.

"Ap/n, please step forward."

You raised your tail and walked until you were right in front of the Highledge.

"I, Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancstors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn.

"Ap/n, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

You struggled to make your voice still. "I do."

Firestar gave you a proud look. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Ap/n, from this moment on you will be known as W/n. StarClan honors your compassion and responsibility, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."

And that was the last time your apprentice name was formally said.

"W/N W/N W/N!" the Clan chanted.

"You are now dismissed." Firestar leapt down and brushed his tail over your shoulder. He left to his den with Sandstorm. The  warm feeling in your chest was spreading to your tail tip.

"W/n." Hollypaw breathed. "It suits you so much."

You touched your nose to hers.

"Oh I forgot you have to do your vigil. See you tomorrow, W/n." Lionpaw and Hollypaw left. You stood near the entrance to camp as every cat slowly went to their dens. Luckily, you weren't allowed to sleep. No Dark Forest tonight.

W/n. Things will be different now.

---

You felt your eyes droop again as the sun rose, making the sky pink. You felt extremely tired and you were a bit hungry.

The first cat to wake up was Sandstorm.

"Hey, W/n, you can speak now. And you can stop patrolling." Sandstorm padded over to you. You nodded as she touched her tail to your shoulder.

"Get something to eat." Sandstorm said. You nodded and walked over to the fresh-kill pile and took a f/p.

"Hey, W/n." Hollypaw and Lionpaw padded towards you.

"How are you guys always awake so early?" you asked when you swallowed a bite of f/p.

"We're used to it." Lionpaw shrugged.

"Eh." you felt another jab of sleep when you blinked.

"Go get some sleep. Don't pass out on your first day as a warrior." Hollypaw snickered. You pawed at her head as you head to the warriors' den. There were two nests, one near the entrance to the side and one to the back but still near the wall. How thoughtful of the other warriors to give you a choice. You chose the one near the entrance. Easier escape.

You curled in your moss nest, staring deep into the moss. You haven't thought about the Tribe of Rushing Water in a long time. How were they doing...?

But you probably couldn't visit them. The Place Of No Stars would call you again. And apparently, your powers don't work in that wretched place.
