Your POV

Pain. Agonizing pain. The scent of blood. Your ears ringing. Loud voices. Dirt. More pain. Something soft?

You opened your eyes steadily. Even that was a pain.

There were three cats near you, all with familiar scents. You couldn't recognize them.

You felt your claws dug deep into something soft. Like a bird? A hawk?

You felt the taste of blood in your mouth. Blood everywhere. Pain too, did I mention?

"W/n?!!!!!"

You heard... Ashfur... that was his name right?

Your body was so sore. You felt someone pulling you onto your paws.

You felt your vision clear more. A ruffled, dead hawk was by your paws. Pools of blood on the ground. So much that it made mud in the dirt. You leaned on Lionpaw's shoulder completely.

Then the sound cleared too. The pain went away and your body wasn't sore.

What...?

Oh that's right. Your power. How could you forget?

"W/n, are you alright?"

You shook your head a few times and stood properly by yourself.

"I'm alright." you mewed back, trying to get your energy back.

"You fell from so high." Lionpaw breathed. His tone was agitated.

"I know." you licked your jaws. "And I killed the hawk."

"You're so lucky you landed on the hawk. That fall could've killed you." Ashfur mewed. He seemed panicky.

"I landed on the hawk?" you glanced wearily at the bird. Its bones looked broken and some of its blood stained the ground.

"W/n, we should get back to camp and let Leafpool look at your injuries." Sorreltail said. She seemed to have returned. Her eyes were wide with worry and her pelt bristled.

Well, you didn't have any injuries. But the blood on your fur made it look like you did.

"Ok." you felt like your paws were on fire. You probably sprained one from the impact. You could barely stand, let alone walk back to camp.

"That hawk shouldn't be here. The forest is too dense for it to hunt." Ashfur hissed, clawing the dirt in anger.

"Not this part of the forest." Sorreltail shook her head.

You regained your senses. Your head still had a headache the scent and taste of blood was grossing you out.

"Let's go." you mewed.

"You should rest a bit." Lionpaw urged. You took a step forward and collapsed.

"Mk." you lay there. Sorreltail picked up the hawk by its neck, which was snapped.

The icy blue eyes. Why did the hawk have that? No hawk any cat has seen had blue eyes.

You stared at the cloudless sky as you caught your breath. Something shimmering in there. A star. A star. A STAR.

Why is there a star in daylight?

Wait.

A hawk's blue eyes. Icy blue eyes.

Hawkfrosttttttt.

No way.

You pondered on that thought for a long time. Was it a StarClan sign? If the hawk was sent by StarClan, why did it attack you? Or did StarClan just send the eye color and the hawk was just nature? Why Hawkfrost?
