When we all left the restaurant that evening, we made huge plans for tomorrow. Katherine couldn't stop talking about how she missed being on the beach, I understood because so did I.

We were woken up the next evening with rain tapping on our hotel windows.

"So, are we all staying in?" Luca asked.

"We might as well stay in for a bit then go out later when the rain settles" I said back.

Luca brought his laptop, we all bothered him about it before we got here saying how having a laptop was useless. It came in handy this afternoon as we watched 'Friends' together. We put the two beds that were in our room tightly packed together and all huddled on them. We moved a nightstand in front of the beds and set Luca's laptop on it.

"I'm so like Joey" I said proudly.

"I don't think so, you're more like Ross" Luca said back.

"There's no way in hell I'm Ross. I'm not that boring."

But as the episodes went on, I liked the idea of being Ross because he got Rachel Green in the end.

"Okay, I'm Ross."

Debate over.

We sat on the beds engaged with the show and munching on pizza. Molly laid on me while I was upright, she often dropped bits of pizza on herself. I would laugh and she would ask why, everyone else knew why but we kept quiet. When the rain cleared and she got up, bits of pizza fell down on the ground in front of her.

"Very funny" She muttered.

Panama City was sort of boring on rainy days. The beach didn't sound so satisfying anymore with all the rain water. The outside stores that sold special things in tents were closed for the day and the amusement park was closed due to wet seats.

We walked around the city, sightseeing and buying Chinese food. We debated between whether we should eat the food in the restaurant or go somewhere else. I liked that Juli was overruled and we got to go eat at the beach.

We headed back for the hotel only to grab blankets for the beach. When we got there, the sand was still wet, great for making castles I thought. It wasn't windy today, it was just completely stable. The air was much more free today than when it was usually hot, like every day here was. Seagulls inched towards us, probably smelling the Chinese food. I threw a piece out there, only to be yelled at by everyone else.

"DON'T FEED THEM. NOW THEY'RE ALL GOING TO COME HERE" Juli yelled at me.

"Don't be so rude" I said.

I stopped feeding the seagulls; as much as I thought I was doing them a favour, I knew Chinese food wasn't something they were exactly supposed to eat.

We stayed at the beach for a long time.

"I can't wait for the sun to be up tomorrow. We deserve it." Katherine said.

She was wearing James' sweater, often rolling the sleeves over her hands. James was skimming the ocean a lot but always coming back to meeting Katherine's eyes. She would break a smile, he wouldn't smile back but his eyes stared at her lips lifting. You could tell they had something there, much more than most of us thought.

I looked over at Stefan, he was chucking rocks into the ocean. He was really good at making the rocks skip at the surface of the water. He was wearing a Yankees baseball jersey, and a leather snapback that kept his dark brown hair out of his eyes. His skin was already tan before he got here, it was even darker now. It made the scars he got as a kid, even more noticeable.
