Part two of my chapter for Abby King. This chapter will be shorter
than usual.

"Thanks." Allison said as Derek handed her a bag of chips. Her vision was still trained on the white board full of writing.

"All you need is some red string and you'll be done." Mark commented from behind the two causing Allison to turn around as face them.

"You two know that when I prove you wrong I will be saying 'I told you so' for the rest of your lives right?" Allison asked as she looked between the two.

"She needs psychiatric help, there's nothing you can do for her." Derek said as he shook his head.

"How confident are you about that?" Allison asked with raised brows.

"I did a full work up on her twice, she's faking it." Derek said firmly.

"Care to make a wager?" Allison asked the attendings.

Mark and Derek looked at each other before agreeing.

"When I prove you wrong I get a life time of free drinks." Allison offered.

"And when you figure out that your wrong you buy us drinks." Mark countered causing Derek to nod his head in agreement.

"Deal, now go away I have to prove two idiots wrong." Allison demanded before going back to her books.

"Still nothing, I'm ordering more tests." Allison said as she entered Abby's room.

"Dr. Shepherd still doesn't believe her?" Ella asked from the chair next to her sisters bed.

"The thing with neurosurgeons is that their egos are massive, we all just ignore it because they're good at their jobs."

"What tests are next then?" Abby asked.

"I'm ordering an EEG which will basically monitor your brainwaves and will tell me if you've recently had a seizure."

"Why has nobody mentioned this before?" Ella asked.

"Because everyone gave up before this point. And if I am truly being honest I'm grasping at straws." Allison answered honestly.

"What's the next step after this?" Ella asked as she began pacing.

"EMG but I'm hoping the EEG will be helpful enough." Allison answered. In reality the EMG was used to check for nerve weakness and would be no help in this situation.

Allison didn't make a habit of lying to patients but Abby's hopefulness was running on fumes and she had already tried to kill herself before.

"What are you doing?" Chief Webber asked when he walked into what he thought was an empty conference room and found Allison laying on the table.

"I thought you were still in interrogations." Allison said with wide eyes as she propped herself up on her elbows.

"I needed a break." The chief commented as she pulled a chair towards him to sit on.

"I need an answer." Allison complained laid back down on the table.

"And you're hoping to find it laying on my conference table?"

"Everyone is convinced my patient is crazy but I know she's not."

"How?" He asked, shocking the girl.

"What?" Allison questioned, confused on what he meant.

"How do you know?" Chief Webber repeated as he leaned back in his chair and looked at the ceiling too.
