Chapter 14: The adventure he encountered.
But who?
Ash gulped as he watched his reflection in the mirror in front of him. His eyes were wide open, not tired, only terrified. Things kept getting horrific moment by moment, which only made it difficult for Ash to deal with the situation. His mind always drifted off to these confusing topics, completely forgetting that Misty had warned him to stay out of these.
Although, technically it wasn't his fault that he kept seeing these things. He couldn't neither help it, nor stop it. It was completely out of his control which only gained him more mental stress and more sleepless nights.
He dried his face, going out of the bathroom and deciding on trying to sleep again, if that was possible. His mind was a mess, pushing poor Ash to a point where he just wanted to end it all.
Always when he had this thought, may it be when some kids bullied him or at dark times like that, he would think of his mother, his cat Tufkin, who would be waiting for him to go back home. It helped him a lot at depressing times.
As he was going back to his room, he thought of the dream he saw, again.
That dream wasn't a casual one, it definitely was to indicate to him about something, Ash concluded that. Although, he remembered only a few things at that moment.
It was related to her past, and Ash knew nothing about it. So he decided to ask her about it, trying not to tell her about the dream.
He went down the trap door and to the royal hallway, walking slowly and observing every door.
He wondered if going back in time and healing everything then and there really won't work.
So, he thought of giving it a try.
Stopping at the one door he found to be suspicious, he took a deep breath. Except for Misty's room and the study room, he knew nothing of what lied behind the other doors.
He slowly grabbed the door and opened it wide, but couldn't hold it for long. A big gush of wind sucked him inside quicker than anyone can say Wandara, into the unknown darkness.

Ash slowly opened his eyes. Moving his neck and looking at his paining arms, he found himself laid on a very rough floor, layered with moss and mud. He looked around, he took in the sight of the brick wall which surrounded him by four sides, and a little gate to get out from it. He found the place really filthy, and got up quickly, dusting himself off.
He had no idea of where he was, so he decided to go out and sneakily observe his surroundings. He took slow steps and went out, and got extremely shocked at what he saw.
There, standing high with pride of its beauty and existence, stood the exact same palace that Ash had seen in the picture frame of Misty's room.
He widened his eyes, knowing that he had actually come back in time. It made him a little happy but nervous at the same time because he didn't know anything that was happening where he was.
He looked around, trying to figure out something that might lead him to the old Misty and to the palace. All he saw was normal people, dressed in their usual ancient clothes and seemed to be doing their work. May it be a mom shushing her crying baby, or a man taking a trolley full of wood somewhere, or an old man cutting meat, it didn't seem suspicious to Ash at all.
