Tyler
--------------------------------------------------
Tyler liked the way the snow fell, it reminded him of when his mum made coconut cookies. They were his favourite. He hadn't had them in 5 years, not since she passed away. He was ten then. It was fast approaching the anniversary of her death.
'Five days,' the boy thought, 'five days until all the aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents will arrive. In five days I have to put on a brave face so that they won't think I'm crazy. I'm crazy.'
It wasn't that Tyler didn't like people, it was that people didn't like him in general. He was a strange boy, always twitching. He was different. He liked boys you see, so ever since year seven when he told his best friend (if you could call him that), Tom, that he was gay, and Tom told basically everyone, he was left a bullied mess. He was an outcast.
