-Ten weeks later-

In the Lair, Rafiki was checking on Fuli's progress like every two weeks that pass. As the lion guard watches the mandrill in silence, Kion has to ask, he can't wait any longer.

"Is she healed?" The prince asked.

Rafiki chuckled then turns looking at the lion guard with a smile.

"Not fully but she is healing and so I am safe to say she will wake up in a day or two." He announced.

The lion guard smiles knowing their cheetah friend will be with them soon enough.

"Also, I will be staying here to be ready when she wakes up. But I will have to leave soon to get everything she needs." He added.

"Thank you, Rafiki." Kion said, with a smile.

Rafiki bowed, grabs his staff then leaves the Lair.

Kion walks up to the cheetah, watching her as the others started talking.

"This is great! Fuli will be back to normal in no time!" Bunga said happily.

"You said it little b." Beshte agreed.

"Uh I don't know, Rafiki said she's still healing, so it might take a little more time till she's normal." Ono said.

While they talking Kion was just gently nudging Fuli, he couldn't wait another ten weeks to see her eyes. He wants to know she's fully coming back to the ones she loves.

But soon he stopped when he heard something from the cheetah, it sounded like she said something. Nudging again to be sure he wasn't hearing things and then...

"Kion...stop.."

Kion gasped loudly, getting the guard's attention.

"Fuli?" Kion said, a little hint of joy in his voice.

"..Don't...nudge..me.." Fuli said quietly, slowly opening her eyes.

Kion smiles and the guard runs over to them surrounding the cheetah.

"Fuli!/You're awake!/Oh you gave us a scare!" Beshte, Bunga, and Ono said.

Kion noticed Fuli wincing and immediately got between his friends and Fuli.

"Okay guys that's enough, she just woke up give her space." Kion said giving his friends a smile.

"We're sorry, Fuli." They apologized.

Fuli gave them a weak smile letting them know it was alright.

After talking to her even know she can barely speak, it really made her feel a little better. Then they left and Ono let Kion know he was going to look for Rafiki and help him if he needs anything.

Which leaves Kion and Fuli alone.

Kion looks at her and sees her eyes closed and he wanted to see her eyes again.

"Fuli."

Fuli halfway opens her eyes moving them to him.

"Are you alright?"

Fuli silently nodded.

"You sure you don't need anything?"

"Food...and water.." She answered weakly.

"Okay, I'll be right back."

"Thank you."

Kion quickly gave Fuli a kiss before leaving.

Fuli laid there stunned with her very red face.

"Did..did he just.." She thought.

Fuli was just speechless.
