Fuli groans as she wakes up and stretches. Opening her eyes she saw that it was morning and she was alone in the den.

"Kion?" Fuli called hoping for a response outside of the den but nothing.

She got up and left the den to for a nice walk and get some water.

When she made it she took a few laps before walking over to the shade to relax. It was quiet and peaceful for everything to be in place with no dangerous whatsoever and that only made Fuli start to doze off.

"Morning Fuli!"

"Ah!"

Fuli jumps and looks up to see Kiara right in front of her.

"Oh morning Kiara, What're you doing here?"

"To get a drink."

"Makes sense."

"Yeah, want to come walk with me you look like you need it."

Fuli thinks about it.

"Sure, I actually do."

----------------------------------------

"So how's your relationship with Kion going?" Kiara asked.

"Oh, it's alright.."

Hearing the falter in her voice Kiara looks at her and asks.

"Is everything okay you don't sound alright?"

"Well... I told Kion I was afraid of him last night.."

"And how did that go?"

"Somewhat better than I expected. He was patient and listened bit also comforted me when I wouldn't stop crying then he wasn't by me when I woke up this morning. Which I'm glad because I don't know how to face him now."

"Just be yourself, Kion wouldn't be mad about you telling him how you feel, he would still be with you."

"I know but I can't."

Kiara stops when Fuli stopped.

"Why did this had to happen to us.. We're not the same anymore.. I became scared and helpless and Kion.. he became mean and stubborn all because of Janja and we don't know why."

"And may never will." Kiara sits down, "But you two can't let Janja ruin your lives in fear. If any enemy sees a chance or weakness they will take it. You both have to break out of your shells before you can't."

"The princess speaks the truth!"

Both females jump and looks up to see Rafiki sitting in a tree above them.

"Have you been following us Rafiki?" Fuli asked.

"Yes, I was seeing how your healing was going." He replied.

"You're one sneaky mandrill." Kiara said.

Rafiki hops down on the ground right next to them.

"True but you also have to listen to your surroundings, I could've been anyone."

"We'll keep that in mind."

"Splended! Now how's it going?"

Fuli knew what he's was asking.

"Slow."

"And why is that?"

She sighs, "I've been holding back."

"It's good that you know but do you know how to change that answer?"

"By not holding back."

Rafiki smiles pleased with her answer.
