Fuli kept running as fast as she could while dodging the falling boulders.

Ono was right above her frantically looking for a way Fuli can hide.

Fuli then screams in agonizing pain as one of the wilder beasts stepped on her back leg cause it to break and her to fall. But that didn't stop her she just kept running no matter how painful it was.

On the top Kion couldn't bear but dread at the agonization his friend was feeling, all he was doing was running to keep up with them, his mind was all over the place, he couldn't think straight.

Over on each sides of the gorge hyenas were pushing boulders off the edge non stop crushing some wilder beasts in the process.

Soon enough the lionesses, Bunga and Beshte finally made it to the hyenas fighting them off.

Ono was still frantically looking around then he found a opened cave in the side of the gorge.

"Fuli! I found one, over there over there!"

Fuli looks at the direction he was pointing and tries to get on the other side but was knocked over by wilderbeasts. Fuli got up and kept running to avoid getting ran over, in the process see missed the entrance and had no other choice and did something that shocked everyone.

She jumps high in the air climbing up the side, she tripped and cut herself but that didn't stop her from trying to get to the top.

"You're almost there Fuli, keep going!" Ono said.

Fuli kept climbing a little more fast as she almost won't be able to hold onto any longer.

When she was almost there she looks up to see Janja.

"Janja, help me!" Fuli said as her back legs keeps slipping.

Janja looks at her for a few seconds then slams his claws in her paws making her scream in pain and she looks at his face full of hatred.

"Janja, please don't do this." She begged.

"Janja! Bring her up!" Ono ordered.

"Haha." Janja laughs evily looking back down at the cheetah. "Rest. In. Peace." He said darkly making Fuli eyes widen then he lets go.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Fuli screamed falling back into the gorge.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Kion screamed seeing the scene with tears.

The lionesses, the lion guard and the royal family stood still watching in horror as the herd finally comes to an end leaving a bunch of dust.

A lioness pounced on Janja bearing her teeth at him so he wouldn't escape.

Everyone immediately jumps down trying to get to the bottom of the gorge.

"Everyone spread out!" The king ordered.

Everyone starts looking around for the cheetah in hopes she is still alive but it would be impossible since this action is fatal.

"Everyone! Everyone over here!" Ono said to them leading them to a cave he has spotted.

Everyone hurried over to the cave and when they got there they gasped in shock. Fuli was inside but her back was turned as she lied on the ground.

Kion hesitantly walks in towards the cheetah.

"Fuli..." He said hoping she would answer at least.

He walks in front of her and gasped, she laid their motionless covered in dirt, bruises, and blood.

"Fuli.." He tried again this time nuzzling her, lifting her head but it just fell back to the ground.

And this time Kion was in tears as he cried for friend.

"Come on Fuli please open your eyes." He pleaded nudging his friend.

Everyone just stood their in tears as the prince tried to wake the cheetah up.

Kion sniffs as he picks up his friend fixing her on his back and walks out the cave.

They all follow him silently as they leave the dreadful gorge.
