It was the next day and the lion guard was regrouping at the water hole finishing their patrol.
"Phew! What a day!" Bunga exclaimed falling on the ground tired.
"The day isn't over yet Bunga." Ono said.
"I wish it was, patrolling like this is making me tired."
"You know the reason why."
"Plus we still can't find a fast animal in the Pride Lands." Beshte added.
"Let's not think about that everyone, we still have four and it's better than nothing." Kion said.
Everyone had to agree on that. Without Fuli yeah patrolling and saving animals was a little harder but there's four of them and nothing will stop them from doing their job.
--------------------------------------
Back in the Lair, Fuli was laying down in her same spot bored. There was nothing for her to do today and Kion is probably still on patrol. She has never had nothing to do in her life maybe she can find something to do.
Looking around the Lair there was clearly nothing then she looks to the entrance of the Lair. Maybe she can go outside.
Getting up walking to the exit she looks around and thinks, she never been nowhere else but near pride rock and that one time to Rafiki's tree.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to walk around." She said to herself, walking more and more away from pride rock.
She then felt different, like she wants to go back and hide. Fuli really didn't feel comfortable being two-hundred yards away from pride rock especially without Kion.
Fuli turns around to go back but stops.
No she can't go back. She can see it now, her behavior has changed. She isn't the Fuli who was scared of being far outside, no wanting to hide and be with someone. She feels like a cub who walks out their den for the first time and she wasn't a cub anymore, she was almost near adulthood.
Just standing there Fuli made up her mind. She can't keep acting like this, she turns around and continues on walking away from pride rock. She wasn't a weak scared cub, she needs this more than ever if she wants to be her normal self again.
As she was walking away without even noticing she was being followed by someone in the sky.
----------------------------------
"Here we are, Mhedte grove. You all should have enough food and water for the dry season." Kion said looking at the antelopes.
"Thank you Kion, lets go everyone."The female antelope said walking away with her herd.
"Now that that's settled we can go home and finally relax!" Bunga said happily.
Kion chuckles, "Alright Bunga we can go home now." He said.
"YES!"
And Bunga took off running and everyone laughs.
"We better catch up with him." Beshte said.
The guard walks away heading back home and Kion couldn't wait to see how Fuli was. He hasn't seen her all day.
---------------------------------------
Fuli has been roaming the pride lands for a while now and to be honest she was actually enjoy it. This is exactly what she needs.
Peace and quiet but mostly freedom.
She was starting to feel like her old self again. It made her feel like running.
Running...
Fuli came into a halt, she hasn't run in so long she doesn't even remember how it feels like. It was always something she loved to do but forgot about it.
