It's been a week for the lion guard and everything has been stressful. Throughout the week they have been fighting off outlanders like non stop but also trying to find someone who's fast and wants to protect the Pridelands.

Now they were fighting off the hyenas once again and this time it was a real fight.

Kion knocked Janja back with a hit growling at hyena, he had enough of this.

"Oh someone's angry." Janja taunted as him and Kion circled, "Tell me which one is it, me winning or you out numbered without someone."

"Get out." Kion said coldly with a warning tone.

There's a lot of ways Kion wants to hurt Janja but he wont do it cause he's good.

"Or what! Hahaha!"

"I said get OUT!"

The clouds formed and the lion guard immediately knows what's happening.

ROAR!

The Roar of the Elders sent Janja and his clan back to the Outlands.

After the fight was over the lion guard heads back to the Lair.

----------------------------

The lion guard walks into the Lair then Kion spoke.

"Where's Fuli?" He asked.

They shrugged their shoulders.

"Fuli, you in here." Bunga called.

When there was silence he shrugged again.

Kion left the Lair in search for Fuli.

----------------------------

Just beside the slope of Pride Rock, the lionesses and part of the royal family was under a tree laying on slopes talking to Fuli.

"You gave everyone a shock, Fuli, especially Kion." Kiara said.

"Really?" Fuli asked interested.

"Yeah, basically he was crying for you. And when Rafiki told him it was up to you to heal or leave he laid beside you, head on your side with a sad look."

"Oh did he now."

Now Fuli sounded very interested. Maybe she just got her answer to yesterday.

"He cares about you, Fuli, something what you've been through shouldn't happen to no one else." Queen Nala said with a small smile.

"I hope it doesn't. It was terrifying and painful."

"Actually it happened to Simba."

Fuli looks at the queen shocked.

"It did?"

"He said it when Rafiki was wondering what happened. Maybe you should talk to him about it, it could give you a piece of mind."

Fuli thought about it and saw that Queen Nala was right. Maybe talking to someone that has experienced it would make her feel better.

"Fuli!"

Fuli blinks then sighs.

"Oh no." She knew something is coming.

Kion came running to the ladies looking directly at Fuli.

"Fuli, why are you here and not resting?" Kion asked.

"I'm relaxing." Fuli stated.

"Out here, not back in the Lair. You're probably stressed."

"I'm not."

"Not right now."

"Kion, thank you but I'm fine."

Fuli hopes he'll drop it and before Kion could speak Kiara spoke.

"You can clearly see she's fine, Kion. Me and mom were the one's to bring her here." Kiara told.

"Why?" Kion asked, not liking the idea.

"Kion, why would Fuli want to stay somewhere where there's nothing to do and sleep all day? And again it's her body so she makes the decision where she goes not you."

"Your sister has a point, Kion." Nala butted in smiling with her eyes closed.

"Aw mom not you too." Kion said feeling betrayed.

"She does."

Kion groans then looks at Fuli.

"Fuli can we talk, alone." He pleaded.

"Okay." Fuli said happily, getting down to her feet following.

While they were walking away Fuli winked at Kiara who winked back.

She wanted to talk to him anyway.

--------------------------------

They were by a tree not far from pride rock and Fuli saw this a good opportunity.

"Kion, you would never lie to me, would you?" Fuli asked fluttering her eyelashes, surprising the prince.

"Of course not, why you ask?" Kion asked.

"Because I was thinking about what Bunga said last week."

Kion paused.

"Which part?"

"The one with 'Nothing we haven't seen before'."

"Oh, what about it?"

"We'll I've realized you've been clingy and mushy."

Fuli stopped to see his face and as she thought it was red.

"And the Kion I know isn't none of those things so I wondering why the change."

Kion was taken back by what she said and started thinking.

"Kiara said something didn't she?" He asked.

"A little."

"Um.."

Fuli waited patiently for his answer.

"Well I sort of-"

"Sort of?"

"Do I mean, I do like you a lot." He mumbled the last part and Fuli didn't hear it.

"What was that?"

Kion looks down saying it a little louder, "I like you a lot."

Fuli smiles softly and lays her head under his neck.

"I like you a lot too."

Kion eyes widen then closed as he smiled. She didn't reject him, that was a relief.

Maybe they can become more in the future. Only time will tell.
