Ain't he cute 😊

(Y/N)s POV:

Three days later Francis came over to discuss wedding plans. We all chose the fall since debutants come back to London at that time. Francis took my hand, "We'll be the first wedding of the season won't we," Francis said. Big happy smile, "Of corse we will." From the corner of my eyes I saw my parents happy, but am I happy with him, no.

🏫the next day at college🏫

"A picnic?" Arthur said. "Yes, and don't worry I'll make the food and sweets, you just meet me at Hyde Park." "Alright love, when's this picnic?" "Friday afternoon," I said. He grabbed my hand. "I won't be far, just look for my motorbike and you'll find me." He gave me a kiss. "And I won't forget the book." "You better not, we're almost at the best part." I told (BF/N) the plan. "Ok, and remember my parents think it's just me and you having a little picnic girl time." "Yeah yeah, now let's see what you'll wear."

"Bye mom bye dad." We were off before they could say anything. "You got the pastry's?" "You got the food?" "Yes now let's go before it gets cold," I said.

🎸at Hyde Park🎸

"There he is, how do I look?" "Let's move you hair back . . . Perfect, have fun, but not too much fun." I walked in and he took my hand. "Come with me love, I found the perfect place for a picnic." It was under one of the trees. Arthur opened the blanket and we sat down. "Alright we have Jami dodgers, scones, little sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, fish fingers and custard, and water," I said. "You had me at fish fingers and custard," Arthur said. He told me how his family was, I made him laugh. "Here you have the last one," he said. "Arthur how can I have the last fish finger if there's no custard left." ". . . Good point." We split it then began reading.

Arthur's POV:

We were back to back, now came the best part. "Oh . . . Oh no, Arthur did you feel that?" "Yes love I did," rain, "put the book away." She did, why didn't I bring an umbrella. We needed shelter for a while, and the closest place was the one place I didn't want to be now. "Take my hand and follow me," I said. She took the basket, we covered ourselves with the blanket, then we went into Oliver's Bakery.

(Y/N)s POV:

Well this place was like wonderland, so many colors—although the tiles on the floor were a pink and blue pattern—and candy . . . and Arthur? I looked at my hand, I know who the man next to me is, but who's that one behind the counter with strawberry blond hair? "Please don't see us please don't see us pl—"
"Arthur, I had a feeling it was you!" the one behind the counter said. He has really lite blue eyes, eyebrows like Arthur, and a lot of energy. He ran over here fast. "Oh come in come in, have a seat, I'll have a cupcake ready in a moment." We sat down. "So who's that happy blue and pink guy," I ask. "That's Oliver, he owns the bakery and never lets me go in the back." "That's because you burn my cupcakes." Arthur freaked out. "Why you—"
"A-a-ah foul words go into the sware jar," Oliver said. He came back with two cupcakes and chocolate milk. "How did you know I like (___)?" "Because you look like a lady who likes (___)." "Alright buzz off, Oliver," Arthur said.

Arthur's POV:

"You know him?" Can't lie to her now. "Yes, (Y/N) I know him, I work for him on weekdays, and when I told him about today he just said ok." She smiled and licked the frosting, "I'm pretty sure he new it was about me or a girl." "Well I did hear him say 'Arthur has a date' and giggling, I just ignored him and walked out." "Oh . . . so this is a date?" (Y/N) asked. I froze, how the bloody hell do I get out of this. "Y-yes, this is a date, the picnic was just a normal picnic." "Ok, I'll take it," she said. We made a toast with chocolate milk.

I drove her home but stopped a few feet from the house so her parents didn't see us. "I hope you had a good time," (Y/N) said. "And I hope you didn't get poisoned." "Beg you're pardon?" "Oh no no no it's nothing. Listen, (Y/N), I've got another show and I'd like you to come." She was quiet. "This might sound cringy but it's like your my good luck charm when I'm up there, (Y/N)."

(Y/N)s POV:

He's got another show, and he needs me. I gave him a kiss, his lips taste like chocolate. "I'll let you know, Arthur." He took my hand and kissed it. "Knowing you, you'll find a way, goodnight love." He drove off into the night. "I'll find a way, Arthur, love always does."
