I closed my eyes letting the tears fall down my cheeks as I felt johns soft hand swipe my cheek wiping away all my tears, I opened my eyes to look at him again.
"I don't know John I don't know if I can keep doing this over and over again, how do I know that we are not going to be right back in this situation in a couple months" I couldn't stop the tears from falling as I spoke
"Just let me prove it to you, I'm not asking you to make a decision right now all I'm asking is you give me one last final chance to prove I want this, more than I have wanted anything in my life"
He reached down for my hand taking it in his before kissing it gently
"Ok" I whispered as he pulled me into him wrapping arms round me as I buried my head into his chest breathing in his scent I had missed so much
"You have to gain my trust again tho because at this moment in time I don't trust you at all"
"Don't worry I will, I promise" he kissed the side of me head gently as I pulled back wiping the tears from my face.
We sat in the car park for what felt like forever talking about random stuff and just enjoying each other's company, John eventually dropped me off back home as I snuck into the house as quietly as I could and made my way up to my bedroom closing the door quietly behind me.
I took off my make up and threw my hair into a pony tail and then climbed into bed throwing the duvet over me before checking my phone to see I had a text message from John.

For the first time in a few weeks I had a smile plastered on my face, I just pray to god he means it this time because I don't think I can go through any of this again.
. . . I was woken the next morning by what could only be described as a elephant charging round the top floor of the house. I opened my eyes and checked the time 7:40 am!
I huffed as I threw back the blanket and stepped out quickly throwing on my dressing gown before heading down stairs for a cup of coffee.
Today was my first day at the Man City training ground and I was literally shaking with fear.
"Morning Chlo, sleep well" kyle smiled as I walked past him throwing a look before heading down stairs to the kitchen.
Lilly was sat scrolling through her phone as she sipped on a coffee
"Morning your up early" Lilly stated
"I have Kyle to thank for that this morning" I giggled as I poured some coffee into my own mug.
"Are you excited for your big day " she asked as I sat down next to her
"I'm honestly so scared Lilly I don't know if I can do this without you" I told her
"Listen Chlo your going to be amazing, you are so ready for this you worked so hard over the summer, just go there and show them exactly what you can do" she pulled me into a side hug as Kyle walked into the room
"Besides this idiot will be there for moral support" Lilly giggled as Kyle walked into the kitchen
We all sat round the table eating breakfast before I headed up stairs to change into my outfit for the gym.

I smoothed my outfit out while checking myself in the mirror, finally after numerous outfit changes I decided a grey 2 piece.
My heart was still beating out my chest as I made my way back down stairs, I have no clue why I'm so nervous, I had done this job all summer but a new club with new people to meet and not having the security of Lilly by my side was making me extremely nervous.
My phone buzzed as I made my way down stairs to Kyle waiting on my in the living room

Johnnnny: morning beautiful, I know your probably extremely nervous for today but I know you will smash it! See you soon ;)xx
I smiled at my phone as Kyle stood from the couch before grabbing his car keys.
"Ready to go" he asked as I nodded my head and we both headed towards the car
Kyle had agreed to drive me in as it was my first time ever at the Etihad and I wasn't sure where I was going.
The drive was pretty quiet, some general conversation till eventually the stadium was right infront of us, I took a sharp inhale of breath as Kyle scanned his pass to allow us into the players car park.
"Let's go" kyle rubbed my shoulder gently as we both excited the car and headed towards the main entrance of the building.
Kyle pointed me in the direction of the reception as he headed through to the changing rooms, a small framed blonde lady with a Man City jacket on smiled at me from her desk.
"You must be Chloe" she smiled walking round to the side i was stood at
"I am" I smiled as she held out her hand
"I'm Lucy, let's show you around and get your passes and things sorted" I nodded at her as we walked down an extremely long hall way filled with pictures of all the current city team
"I know you have probably been through all this in the England camp so you should be use to all this" she smiled as she handed me a lanyard with a couple keys and passes on to allow me through all the doors
We eventually made it to an office with a plaque that read " Fitness Coaches" as she pushed it open to reveal 2 men sat to the left of the room behind a long desk and another brown haired girl who looked a little younger than me sat at the desk on the right side of the room by herself
"Morning guys, look who's arrived" Lucy smiled as one of the guys stood from the desks and made his way over to me
"Chloe, nice to meet you I'm Andy head of the fitness team" he smiled holding out his hand for me to shake, he looked like he was in his late 30's
"Nice to meet you" I smiled at him as he turned to the other guy who was now stood behind him
"This is Jason you two will be working closely together this season" Jason smiled as he sook my hand
"And just behind Jason here is Hannah, Hannah is one of our student coaches and based on what I have heard will learn a lot from you" Hannah smiled shyly behind Jason as they showed me to my desk.
I spent the rest of the afternoon settling in Andy gave me my own laptop and fetched me some uniform from the store room before showing me round the systems and how to work them.
"You ready to see the gym then" Jason smiled as we both walked out the office door and down to the main gym
"So tell me more about you then" Jason smiled at me
His dark hair lay perfectly on the top of his head he had tattoos covering both his arms and a few on his legs as far as I could see
"What do you want to know" I laughed at him
"How old are you" he asked
"I'm 24 and you" I asked him back
"I'm 26" he flashed me a cheeky smile
"How long have you worked in fitness" he continued
" i worked with the under 21s england team since I was 20 and then have been with the first team for the last year" I smiled again
"Wow that's amazing, so you have some great experience then" he nudged me slightly
I laughed brushing it off as he flew open the doors to the gym
"So are you single" he asked
I rolled my eyes knowing this was what he had been trying to get to the whole time.
"I am yes" I laughed
Jason continued to show me round the gym and the store room and eventually the canteen area before we headed back to the office.
