Warned against each other from the very beginning can they make it work while keeping it out the public eye how long can they resist temptation to tell the world of their love for each other
The next morning I pulled myself from my bed around 11am, John had already left for training and the space next to me was cold where he had once been
It was my day off and thankfully I was feeling a lot better after seeing John last night, I was in a way thankful I didn't have to work today because I know he wasn't going to let what Andy said to me yesterday go.
I checked my phone before climbing out of bed and turning on the shower when I heard the door knock from downstairs
Sighing I turned the shower back off before heading down to open the door, Lauren was stood there with her jacket wrapped round her, her eyes looked heavy and sad
"Come in" I held the door open for her as she headed towards the kitchen
"You okay Lauren" i asked looking at her face as the tears fell down her cheeks
"He's been cheating on me" she cried as I wrapped my arms round her
My heart was beating a million miles an hour in hope he hadn't mentioned anything lol about me and him
"For how long" I asked her as I walked round the other side to make us both a cup of tea
She explained the text messages she had found on his phone and how he didn't even try and deny messaging so many more I could tell from her face she was absolutely heart broken and I was for her
"that wasn't even the worst part he's been sleeping with Maya for about a year now" she said the tears flowing again
I dreaded every time I heard that woman's name, she was like a dark cloud just hanging over everyone ready to ruin our life's
I listen to her for what felt like forever offering her as much advise as I can give her when Lilly came through the door from work I quickly realised I was running late for my date with John tonight
Checking my phone I could see John had text me an hour ago

My Johnny: I will pick you up at 7 princess, wear something stunning 😍
I smiled at my phone looking at johns message as I quickly text him back before leaving Lauren in Lilly's capable hands so I could go and get ready

"Fucking hell what's he done to deserve this" Lilly asked turning round on the couch to admire my outfit
"He told me to wear something stunning and I mean" I said to the girls pointing down to my red jumpsuit currently hugging me tightly
"If he don't take you home tonight I will" Lauren chuckled as I sprayed my body with perfume just as John text he was outside
"Don't wait up" I winked at Lilly as I pulled open the front door
I walked towards johns car the lights down the drive way lifting up my path as I carefully walked in my heels holding my bag close to my hip
"Your look fucking stunning" John smiled widely at me before leaning over and kissing me lightly on the lips trying not to smudge my lip stick
"Thank you, you look so handsome" I smiled reaching round the back of this neck scratching his neck lightly as he grabbed my hand intertwining his fingers with mine and reached down to put the car into drive keeping our hands locked together.
John was wearing a white t shirt with black denim jeans and a denim jacket he looked so beautiful as he drove to his his before dropping the car off and ordering an Uber for us

"John this place is stunning, it's too much" I smiled over to him from the table we where currently sat at
The restaurant was massive marble stone tables with gold trimmings spread around the room the place had very dull lighting a very romantic setting with several candles light in the middle of the table
"In my eyes for you this is not enough, you deserve the world" he smiled at me
My stomach was turning I felt so nervous but this was mine and johns first proper date together
John ordered a bottle of wine and we waited for our food to come I couldn't stop looking at him and how perfect this lighting made him look
"I don't mean to be cringe but I don't think I have been this happy in a long time" John told me as he grabbed my hand from across the table
"Me neither I have had the most amazing time with you so far, it's just upsetting there are people out there always trying to ruin it" I told him
"Don't worry about those other people they don't even matter, all that matters is me and you are happy together everyone else is either going to have to accept it or don't it makes no difference to me" he kissed the top of my hand
"I was warned against you so many times but there has to have been a reason I kept coming back" I smiled
"We where made for each other" John winked
The waitress brought our food to the table handing us both our orders before taking away the empty bottle of wine before coming back a moment later with another
"Trying to get me drunk are you stones" I winked at him
"That's for me, I need something to compose myself while I'm sat opposite you wearing that"
I smiled at him taking a bite of my food before seeing off the rest of the wine in my glass
"Lauren found out dec was cheating on her" I told him
"Your kidding with who" he asked surprised
"He had been messaging a load of girls on Instagram and then she found out he's been sleeping with Maya" I told him forgetting for just one second how they knew each other
"Why am I'm not surprised it's her" John scoffed
I continued to eat my dinner leaving the conversation there as I didn't want to have to be the one to explain it was probably happening while they where together.
After we finished eating we ordered 2 shots and 2 vodkas to end the night with, i already felt slightly tipsy and this shot was defiantly about to tip me over the edge
I smiled wildly as we clinked our glasses pouring the liquid down my throat
"I don't ever want this to end" John smiled at me
"What" I asked him
"Me and you together, you make me so so happy when I imagine my life without you now it's just seems like it would be miserable" he sighed I looked into his eyes as he began to speak again
"I don't ever want to loose you Chloe, I can see us growing old together watching our grandkids play in our back garden as we sit sipping on glasses of wine" he chucked causing me to laugh a little loud
