Sixteen

I walked slowly inside towards the toilet when I was finally met with John leaving the bathroom.

"You alright" he asked

"Not really no" I told him, my confidence shining through all the alcohol I had consumed

"I just don't get you John, you are so back and forward with me I don't know where I stand! I get this injury is a big thing for you but I don't know why your taking it out on me" I crossed my arms over my chest

"Look I just need to focus on me right now, football is my life and I can't have any distractions while I get back to full fitness" he announced

"Distractions" I raised my eyebrows

"That's not what I meant Chlo, I jus.."

"Save it John, I know exactly what you mean" I held my hand up as I walked past him into the bathroom

I held onto the sink as I looked at myself in the mirror, dabbing my teary eyes I got myself together before heading back out to the rest of the group.

It took a lot of effort to ignore John for the rest of the night, myself Lilly, Mason Declan and Kyle polished off a few more bottles of champagne before we all made the journey back to the hotel.

We decided to walk home as I took my shoes off and walked along the sand with everyone.

"Should we get in" kyle asked pointing towards the sea

"I can't ruin this outfit" I announced

"Just take it off and get in" Lilly announced as she began pulling her dress over her head and the rest of the boys took off their clothes aswell leaving them in just boxers

I felt comfortable enough with the boys so quickly stripped off my skirt leaving my top half on as I had no bra on with my outfit running towards the water in just my underwater.

We splashed around for a bit as Declan picked me up and threw me in the water dunking my whole body under

"DECLAN" I screamed as I resurfaced, salt water in my eyes I scrambled around until I felt two very large hands grabbing me and pull me into them as I wrapped my legs round their waste

When I finally opened my eyes dec was laughing his head off at me.

"Sorry Chlo I could not resist" he laughed pushing the hair out my face

"I hate you" I laughed as he pulled me into a hug holding my legs tightly from under my thighs as I wrapped my arms round him leaning my head on his shoulder

"So what's happening with u and John then" he asked as we floated around the water watching everyone around us messing about

"There is no me and John he made that very clear this evening" I told him

"He doesn't know what he's missing" Declan announced as I took a deep breath watching the moon in the distance.

Eventually we all climbed out the sea pulling our clothes back onto our wet bodies as we made our way back to the hotel.

I woke the next morning to my alarm as I sprung up from my bed.

I looked round the room and noticed I was here alone, my head was banging and I quickly ran to the bathroom and emptied my stomach instantly feeling better.

After I showered I threw on a pair of navy blue shorts and matching crop top and tied my trainers to my feet before filling my bottle with ice cold water as I headed to the gym for a session with the boys.

"Morning Chlo" Dan smiled at me as I walked into the gym instantly taking a seat on the weight bench instead of helping him set up

"How's the head" he laughed at me as he moved a Matt around the floor

"Not good the champers had killed me off" I laughed as I placed a paracetamol in my mouth and chugging it down

"It was such a great night tho wasn't it" Dan said

"It was so good" I laughed as everyone started to pile into the gym

I eventually pulled myself together and ran through different exercises with the lads for a couple hours until the had training on the pitch.

Phil was still recovering from his injury and asked if I wanted to go get some food with him which of course I couldn't say no to... not today.

We walked along the streets of Spain until we found a little casual restaurant at the beach front, the waiter showed us to our table as we browsed the menu for a bit.

"So dec was telling me you and John are done, how you feeling about it" Phil asked straight up

I laughed slightly at how forward he was

"You know I'm actually fine about it, I'm so done with him stringing me along all the time and only wants to be with me on his terms" I said as I took a sip of my drink

"Yeah I could kind of tell last night that you where over it" he said

"How come" I asked shovelling some food into my mouth

"I don't know you just seemed really happy with the other lads and lilly, your stronger than you think you know" Phil advised

"So tell me how have things been with you" I asked him

"Ahh here and there I just want to get back on that pitch so badly"

"Yeah I get that but atleast you came here and they didn't leave you back in England" I laughed

"That's true I think I would have been demented if I had to stay back in England"

We both laughed and joked for hours before we decided we better get back to the hotel before they send out a search party for us.

I had grown so close to Phil in the past couple weeks and he was literally one of my best friends now.

"A few of us are going to have a movie night in masons room tonight if you want to come.... And don't worry John won't be there" he giggled slightly

"I would love that, I'll see you later then" I hugged Phil before I headed into my room where Lilly and Kyle where watching tv

"Oh heeeey lovers" what yous watching I asked as I pushed Kyle into the middle of the bed and jumped onto my side

"Have I ever told you that I hate you" kyle moaned as he re adjusted his position.

"All the time" I sniggered as I pulled out my phone flicking through my socials for a bit.

We all must have fallen asleep as I woke up an hour later to Lilly and Kyle also sleeping beside me.

I quickly snapped a picture of the three of us crammed in the bed and added it to my story with the caption.

*naps with mom and dad* before standing up and heading for a shower to get ready for the movie night.
