Twenty two

My face hardened at the sight of her walking through my house. Dec made his way over to them embracing both the boys and give the girls a quick hug.

I stayed behind in the kitchen Lauren still stood to the side of me.

"Don't worry about her im sure John knows exactly what he has in you" Lauren rubbed my shoulder gently

I smiled lightly at the girl, she was so lovely and I would never want to hurt her feelings by her finding out what happened between me and dec

"Do you want to do a shot with me" I smiled wildly at her

Lauren nodded her head as I turned round reaching for the shot glasses from the cupboard and grabbing the first bottle of shots I could find

"Tequila do" I raised my brows at her

"Oh god yeah go on then" Lauren laughed

Dec walked back into the kitchen again with just jesse the others made there way out into the garden to join everyone else .

"Shot boys" I held the bottle in the air as they both agreed

"Listen Chlo just to let you know I didn't bring Maya here she text Sasha to say mason invited her" Jesse explained

"Don't worry Jess I'm fine.. it's fine" I told him as I poured the liquid into the shot glasses

I made my way back into the garden hands full of drinks as I approached the group I had left a couple minutes ago handing Kyle his beer first and then John.

"Thank you" he smiled pulling me into his side and squeezing me tight

We made our way to the garden furniture in the corner of the garden everyone squeezing into a space as I sat down next to John

He grabbed my hand holding it in his lap as he turned to look at me

"Her being here changes nothing, I told you i was going to prove to you that you can trust me" he smiled

I was staring at his features while taking in what he was saying to me as he leaned down placing a small kiss on my lips, I squeezed his hand lightly to indicate I had taken in what he was saying to me

The night took a dramatic turn everyone was so pissed the music was up full blast and I had stayed out of mayas way as much as I possibly could her doing the same with me.

Me Lauren and Lilly all lay on the large day bed we had positioned in the middle of the garden just watching people interact and laughing at how drunk they all where.

"We are so glad you came tonight" Lilly announce to Lauren who had loosened up a bit now she was several drinks in

"I'm so glad too you girls are lovely" she smiled

"We should organise a girls night soon just us three none of those mad boys" I told them both as they agreed

"How are things with you and John now" Lauren asked I assumed dec had kept her up to date with all the drama

"Yeah we are good.... He said he was going to prove himself to me and so far he's doing an amazing job" I smiled as I watched John mess around with Phil over the other end of the garden

"I think your both so well suited" Lauren smiled at me

"And how about you Lils how's things with Kyle" Lauren asked

Lilly sighed before taking a quick sip of her drink

"I mean they are good I just don't know if me and Kyle will ever be able to be in a proper relationship you know, we have been so back and forward for years now it just never seems to work out the way I want it to" I rubbed her shoulder gently as Lauren pulled her into a side hug

" if I'm being totally honest with you Lils I think he thinks your too good for him" I told her

"How do you mean" she asked squinting her head at me

"Well you have been dating on and off now for a couple years, he's clearly mad for you but I think he's scared of taking it to the next level incase you reject him" i told her as she giggled slightly

Lauren agreed when suddenly Kyle John and dec walked towards the bed

"Here's our girls" dec smiled taking a seat next to Lauren

Kyle body slammed himself deliberately between me and Lilly leaning most of his weight onto me for a couple seconds before I elbowed him in the side causing him to squeal lightly

"You know Chloe I don't have a little sister but the way we mess with each other I imagine this is exactly what it would be like" he chucked

John crawled from the bottom of the bed to lie on his front between my legs his head resting on my thigh as he turned to face the rest of the group, I reached down scratching the back of his neck gently with my nails

As everyone involved them self in conversation I watched as Declan kept glancing between myself and John a strange look on his face.

It was starting to get dark and the breeze was now blowing causing goose bumps to form on my arms, most of the guests had left for the night and the rest of us sat round the day bed still almost too pissed to function

"Right shall we take all this inside now it's getting cold" lily announced standing from her place in the bed

John stood from the bed frowning at me as I lay in the same position

"Are you getting up" he laughed as I stayed laying flat on my back

"Your head had made my leg go numb" I laughed

John laughed at me staring down and my body before leaning forward for me to grab on to him.

I wrapped my arms behind johns neck as he pulled the rest of my body into him standing from the bed as I wrapped my legs round his waist as he clung tightly to my bum.

We walked into the living room where everyone had made themselves comfortable on the couches the only seat left behind the gigantic bean bag in the corner of the room.

John made his way over dropping me down first

"Do you want a drink" he asked as I nodded my head

John walked off with the rest of the boys leaving all the girls in the living room

"He's doing so good" Lily smiled down to me

"He really is" I was grinning from ear to ear until my sight finally set on Maya rolling her eyes from her seat

"Anything to add" I asked her raising my eyebrows

"Don't get use to it hun it won't last forever" she said in her extremely high pitched voice

"Thanks for your input but it wasn't needed" Lauren quickly jumped in, I was shocked we had only met today and already she was in my corner

Maya looked her up and down before turning to continue the conversation she was having before rudely interrupting mine.

Finally the boys came back drinks in had for their girls, John handed me my glass before sitting down beside me his arm resting on my legs as he intertwined his fingers with my hand also rested in my lap

"Have you enjoyed your day" John asked smiling down at me as he took another sip from his beer

I glanced up at him staring into his beautiful glazed eyes thanks to the beer.

"The best" I whispered as he leaned down slightly planting a kiss on my lips.
