Ranea begged me to sit back at the table again. She missed me, and I missed her too. Sitting with Devin had been fun and drama free. On the other hand, I did miss being able to talk to Ranea. With Chelsea there, it would be hard to talk to her. I wanted to keep the peace.
"I will make sure Chelesa is on her best behavior."
I doubted that she will, but the pleading look in Ranea's eyes made me give in.
"Fine I will be there."
"Thanks," she said.
"Still got to talk to Devin."
She frowned. "He is going to sit with us?"
"If I can convince him to."
"Oh okay."
"What is it?" I asked.
"Oh nothing."
I knew there was something up. However, I didn't push it.
To my surprise, Devin agreed to it. It was a little too easy for my liking. My suspicion rose when he had a huge grin on his face.
Devin and I made it to the cafeteria first. Ranea and Chelsea came afterward. When Chelsea saw us, she paused. Her eyes passed from Devin to me. She whispered something in Ranea's ear. She shrugged her response. She patted Chelsea on the back, and they slowly made their way to the table. I looked up at Devin, and he was smiling at the whole scene.
Chelsea sat at the table without a word. Ranea did the same. I wasn't liking what was going on. Too much weird behavior for me. I also felt tension. I noticed that Devin kept staring at Chelsea, but she had her head down while stabbing at her food. Ranea looked around pretending to not pay attention to what was going on.
I couldn't handle it any longer. "Would someone like to tell me what is going?"
"I'll tell you what's going on. You are weak ass bitch. How dare you send your boyfriend to threaten me? What? You can't fight your own battles now?" Chelsea snapped.
"What-"
"Didn't I tell your ass not to say one more word to her," Devin interrupted my response.
"Forget you Devin. I can get Xavier to kick your ass."
I didn't know what was going and what had happened between these two, but it was not good. Apparently, she thought I sent Devin to threaten her.
Devin nostrils flared. "What is he going to do bitch. His punk ass can't take me. You keep running your mouth and I'll- "
"Devin." I grabbed his arm and immediately. "Wait a minute. Now calm down. What are you talking about Chelsea?"
Chelsea clapped her hands. "Wow you are quite the actress Miesha."
"I don't understand."
"Well understand this. If you ever send him to threaten me again, I'm going to beat your ass."
"Really. Chelsea? Is that what your going to do?" Devin questioned.
"Yeah I will. She isn't a match for me."
"Do something right now then," Devin taunted her.
"Whatever you trying to do is not working."
"Yeah exactly. There is no bite behind your bark. So shut up and be a good little bitch and eat your food."
Chelsea picked up her lunch tray and tossed it on Devin. She also took her juice and aimed it straight at Devin's face.
