I still couldn't believe what was happening. He had been having an affair with this woman, but for how long? Tears began forming in my eyes and chest was tightening, "h-how long?" I asked, Mason just looked the floor with no response, "HOW LONG?" I shouted, "four months" the girl answered guilt filling her voice. I sighed, "four fucking months! Wow so even before I had to leave" I remarked snarky, "Romie I-" Mason began, "you what? Come on spit out your shit excuse" I said, "we can fix this! I love you!" He begged, I laughed at what he said as tears began falling not only from my face but from HERS too. "I'm not some mug who'll fall for your bullshit Mason! I'm so fucking tired of this shit! And the worst thing about what you just said is the fact that all of this meant nothing, and you've not only hurt me in the process but her as well" I said as I pointed at the upset girl standing before me. He stayed silent as a fuming Jack stood by the door, "this" I said moving my hand between myself and him, "this is over" I said, I walked up the stairs and began packing my things as fast as I could. I turned around at the sound of the door opening, "please roms! Please give me another chance I can fix this" he begged, "there's nothing to fix mason, it's over, I want nothing more to do with you"I told him with tears falling from my face, that's when he sat down on the bed and began sobbing, "please Romie I'll do anything, just tell me how to make it better" he said, "you can't, you just have to let me go" I said as I zipped up the suitcases holding the rest of my things and pulling it towards the door, "goodbye mason" I announced before pulling my cases down the stairs with my brothers help. Jack began filling his car with my cases and I walked down the stairs find a still upset girl, "I'm so sorry" she said in between her sobs, "the strange thing is I don't blame you, but don't let him take advantage of you" I said with a brief smile before grabbing my own car keys and exiting the house. I walked outside and Jack wrapped his arms around me as I sobbed into his chest, "I don't even know what to do anymore Jack" before more sobs escaped, "we'll get through it, together" he said before kissing my forehead, "now come on let's get you back to mine" he said as he helped me into my own car before going to his.
I drove to Jacks in tears, trying my hardest to contain myself but I just couldn't control my emotions. I arrived at his shared house with his girlfriend, Sasha, and decided to ring my best friend, Perrie, as I knew she would be the person best fit to calm me down.
"Hello Roms, how was it? I bet he is thrilled your back" she said cheerfully. This caused me to just burst into tears. "Romie what's wrong? Tell me what's happened?" She seemed really concerned now. "Where are you?" She asked, "a-at j-jacks" I broke out, "I'm on my way okay? Just breathe!" She said. Perrie stayed on the phone to me until she arrived, as soon as she saw me, I was immediately pulled into the arms of my bestfriend, "it's gonna be okay, I got you" she whispered to me. After I calmed down a bit, I told her about everything that happened and how he'd been having an affair for four months, she was angry, shocked and ready to..."I'm gonna kill that bastard!" She shouted, "no need Jack frightened the shit out of him" I said laughing for the first time, "well then little missy, time to get over this break up and party our arses off tonight!" She squealed, "no really Perrie I'm not up for it" I begged, "excuse me, I am not taking no for an answer! Chop chop!" She said sternly, I jumped off the sofa and was dragged to the shower whilst Perrie picked out an outfit for me.
Jack dropped us off at a bar in the centre on London, where we met Jade, Leigh and Jesy along with some others Alex, Kyle, Andre and then two people I've already met, Jordan and John. We all got a drink at the bar and began our night out.
After a night full of laughter and dancing, I could officially say Mason was out of mind. I was very drunk at this stage and dancing with a tipsy Jordan on the dance floor. The others were...somewhere? But this dance off was hilarious. Neither of us were doing very well as the alcohol took control so soon enough we gave up and went back to everyone.
It was around 3am, Perrie and I got a taxi back to hers and I stayed the night there. I woke up the next morning with a banging headache and to a spewing Perrie in the toilet. I jumped out of bed and ran to hold her hair back, I rubbed her back and after she'd stopped I went to get both of us some water and pain killers to ease our hangover. A few hours passed and the pair of us had cured our hangovers, I grabbed my phone and deleted all photos of myself and Mason from my Instagram feed, finishing it off by unfollowing him. I then decided to post a picture from last night to show I'm doing fine and don't need him in my life.
