The elevator went up to Heaven.

Ugh, the word tastes sour in my mouth, even whilst writing this. Heaven. Angels. Death. Murder- Atticus- UGH! I can't connect the angels with anything other than killing Atticus! I'm so useless! Useless! USELESS!

Beatriz snapped me out of my trance, "Hurry up, Jade, we're here."  I blinked a couple of times, hurrying out of the elevator.

Heaven was less... golden and full of clouds than I imagined. It was a big, grassy field, filled with flowers a many and growing trees. Quartz buildings and houses littered the area, in perfect rows, with perfect lawns, perfect... perfection.
Angels flew around with their giant, feathered wings bigger than Erik's. They had golden, glowing halos, their skin radiated light, too. I was so drawn to them I nearly walked into the gates without noticing.

"GENERAL!"Erik whisper-yelled. I stopped in my tracks.
"It's got some sort of... luring spell on it. I think this might be a trap..."Valentina mumured as I walked back.

I shook off the magic that had been shoved in my system. "Valentina, you can resist charming enough to open it."I said.

"This is a different gate than last time I was here..."Erik muttered, and then shivered, he scratched his Adam's apple. Valentina put her hand on his shoulder in a comforting way, I rolled my eyes, dumb... lovey-dovey couple stuff.

Valentina kissed Erik's cheek affectionately and then walked towards the gate, she struggled to push it open.

"NEED... HELP!"She yelled. I rolled my eyes, taking off my aviator jacket, revealing my I'm-Saving-The-World-And All-I-got-Was-This-Dumb-Tank-Top Tank top. I tied my jacket around my waist, and jogged over to Valentina. Disorienting thoughts filled my mind, but, before I knew it, we were on the other side of the gate.

Floating eyeballs with giant angel wings flew around, too.
"Don't look into the eyes."Erik muttered, and we continued on.

"You were in Heaven before this, right, man?"Atticus asked.
"Uh, yeah."Erik answered.
"What happened last time?"Atticus wondered.
Erik stopped in his tracks for a count of ten, and then continued walking, "I, erm- almost died..."Erik said.

"Oh."Atticus mumbled.

And they trudged on their path.
"Uhm... what is your guys's biggest regret, like, ever?"Valentina asked.

Not saving Atticus, taking over camp, being alive, just to name a few, I thought to myself.

"That's a hard one. I guess I wish I hadn't wasted my life and been so arrogant at times?"Atticus answered, which was truthful, he used to have a pretty big ego as a child.

"I don't really regret anything, really..."Beatriz said. I could see through her lies, she was most definetly regretting dating me.

"I don't regret eating that stupid apple, because it made me meet the love of my life."Erik kissed Valentina's cheek. I scoffed, and continued walking.

We finally made it to the garden of Eden, on the path to the palace.
"I don't... remember much past here."Erik mumured.

"I'll lead the way, then."I said, walking past everyone, they all followed. The trees and plants and fruits all looked so beautiful, my mouth is watering just thinking about them. Erik shivered as we passed the infamous tree of knowledge.

We spotted the gates to the palace, Atticus glanced over at Erik.
"You... uhm... remember how you got in?"He asked.
"I think I was unconcious, dude."Erik answered.

"Eh, I've got an idea."Valentina said "Time to put on my charm"She smirked, slicking back her hair. Walking towards the giant Hell-Hounds guarding the place, her pupils seemed to turn into kalidescopes, millions of colors shifting and turning, her voice became light and fluffly, like a cloud, soft and sweet, like a violin. My eyelids drooped, I felt so tired...
"Jade."Beatriz put her hand on my shoulder, my eyelids shot open. "Agh, sorry."I said, embarrassed. The dogs around us were asleep, so we all walked in.

The seven heavenly virtues weren't in their thrones. Good thing, too, I didn't feel like dying that day. "Ceiling..."Erik muttered, "Sorry, my thoughts are fuzzy around here."

"The ceiling... or lack of!"I suddenly thought, taking a pen from my pocket. I threw it at the twisting and twirling sky that took place instead of the ceiling, it was some sort of mist.... I spotted a small lever, one that might open the doors to the dungeons.
"Erik, go up, now."I ordered, Erik rolled his eyes(how dare he) and then grew wings, he flew up to the ceiling and then pulled the lever.

Erik flew back down, next to Valentina with a bow. Suddenly, a small trap door opened.
"This is a stealth mission, we're in and out. Grab Ezra, then Ellisse, maybe, if we have time. And only kill someone if you have to."I explained to them, they all nodded, and we headed down.

I remember that it felt quite... off there. Different from Heaven and different from Hell, not like Limbo, though... No, I'd taken Beatriz to a date in Limbo once... it didn't feel quite like this. This felt like... a half-realm. Not a full-on realm, but not part of one. We hurried off, millions of cages hung from nothingness, we were on a long, stone bridge, stretching out seemingly forever. "Hurry up, the guards are gonna spot us!"I whisper-yelled.

"I've got this... it's gonna take a lot of my energy, though."Valentina said, breathing in.

Suddenly, she blew smoke from her mouth, it surronded us, Valentina muttered some sort of... spell.

"There, We-we're cloaked...now..."Valentina's eyes rolled back into her head, she fell backwards into Erik's arms, dramatically.

"Uh, I don't think the guards can see us. Val's done this before, we all have to walk in a clump, at the same pace, and be very quiet..."Erik whispered, we all nodded, and walked at the same pace as him.

"Stop... pushing me."I elbowed Atticus, he groaned. "You stop pushing me!"He whisper-yelled. "How about we stop pushing eachother?"Beatriz whispered angrily. Edie whimpered.

Atticus elbowed me one more time, I coudln't take it anymore, "CAN YOU STOP IT?!"I yelled.

I instantly covered my mouth, but the damage had been done. The angels had spotted us. Oh demons.
