Hey, it's me, still dying.Great way to start this off, huh? Delirium was starting to annoy me, she didn't answer my questions or even try to heal me, even though she could. Her attention span was like a dog's.
"ANSWER MY QUESTIONS, DEMON, OR YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT!"The angel-girl yelled at me from outside the cage bars.
"What's your name, an- anyway?"I asked the angel.
"It's Isabelle, Why should you know?!"She scoffed.
"So I can personally tell Adan that I'm going to murder you!"I chuckled, blood coming out of my mouth. "Ooo! Good retort!"Delirium laughed, which made me laugh hysterically.
"Don't you talk about Adan! He isn't my brother anymore, he doesn't count as an angel anymore! He's a pathetic creature! You're coming with me. Angel interrogation. NOW."And so Isabelle unlocked my cage and basically dragged my half-dead self out.She used her wings and flew me into a council-like room, dropped me onto the floor, and then flew onto the side of the thrones.
"Hey."I croaked. The angels all curiously stared down at me, one began to speak, a female one. She had a pink bob-cut and dark, expresso-coloured skin, also huge, white angel wings. And a golden halo over her head.
"Errr... Hello. I am Ramiel, embodiment of Kindess."She half-smiled. The angels continued to stare at me."What? Never seen a son of Mammon before?!"I yelled up at them.
"Not one this injured! Oh dear, what did Isabelle do to you?!"Another one called down, he was dressed up in a full-on medic outfit. Raphael. Embodiment of Humility and healer of the angels. I remembered that from the classes at camp. He was about to wave his hand, but another angel put it down for him. It was Michael, the twin brother of Lucifer."You will tell us about your sister, about your camp, how hard may it be?"Ramiel insisted, I stared into her eyes. Angel magic. "Er- Uhm- uhh..."I made myself stutter purposely. "SPEAK, NOW!"Michael firmly yelled down. "She's, she's- uhm- and- er-"I continued to do it, one of my many talents was not answering questions by stuttering on purpose.
Every angel looked at Michael, he nodded as if deciding something. What... was about to happen? Michael locked eyes with me, I tried to look away or step back, but I couldn't resist it.
"What is your deepest fear?"He asked me. "That someone... will find out that..."I devilishly smiled, "YOU SUCK!"I spat at his feet, cackling."That wasn't strong enough hypnosis, stupid!"Raphael was holding in laughter, I could tell. Michael seemed annoyed, slightly embarrased.
"Yeah, stupid!"I agreed, the angels all shot angry looks at me. I let out a howl of laughter, probably looking insane, which is what I was actually starting to feel like. "He's lost it! Look what you did, Isabelle!"Another angel, possibly... Uriel yelled. Isabelle looked down.
"I thought you guys were.. angels. Why're you fighting?"I slurred when I spoke.
"Yeah, but were not supposed to be perfect!"Azrael(another angel) scoffed, "Typical demons and their stereotypes.""YOU ARE LITERALLY SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECT!"I yelled.
"Bring out the girl, I've had enough."Ramiel sighed. "Wait, no!"I called up at them, but they didn't listen.
Ellisse appeared in the room, valuable objects, money, and jewels circling around her in a tornado-like pattern. "ELLISSE!"I yelled at her, tears streaming down my face. She couldn't hear me. The sharp jewels slightly scraped her skin, causing it to bleed. Steaming Shackles were around her wrists and ankles, making me wince. I continued to scream her name, "PLEASE, ELLISSE!"
"We may have to hurt her if you do not answer our questions."Michael smirked.
"HURT ME AS MUCH AS YOU WANT! JUST- PLEASE LET HER GO!"I screamed. Ellisse was screaming in pain, her eyes tightly closed."You care an awful lot for a demon, I'll give you that."Ramiel smiled down at me, but I continued to cry loudly, the shackles around Ellisse's wrists and ankles tighening and burning more.
"TELL. US. WHAT. YOU. KNOW. NOW!"Michael yelled at me, Ellisse yelled in pain. I opened my mouth to tell him, I had to tell him, but then... Delirium appeared in front of me, making me focus on her. "Don't say it, silly!"
Darn it. She was taking me over. My legs turned to jello, I fell on my butt with a loud laugh. STOP IT! I HAVE TO SAVE ELLISSE!I tried to scream, but nothing came out.
"Does... anyone else feel the presence of Delirium?"Azrael asked, looking nervous.
"Oh... shoot..."Raphael muttered. I howled in laughter, my eyes watering while I gasped for air. Some of the angels seemed to be holding in laughter, too."STOP THIS AT ONCE!"A booming voice yelled. The room shook, everything went silent except for a few giggles of mine here and there. A man walked into the room in white toga-like robes, dark skin, black hair, golden eyes, and a serious, stern look. Oh my... demons. It was him, God, capital G. The big man. The... the dude! HE WAS HERE! THE GUY!
"Stand up, Ezra."He sighed. I stood up, well, I didn't. It was as if my body was moving on it's own. My posture was perfect, too, which was weird for me, because my head usually automatically stares at the floor! "Bow."He ordered, and my body bowed.
"Good."God stepped closed, examining me as I slowly came back up. "You are injured, badly injured. I am thoroughly surprised that you are not unconcious, or dead."
I did notice that my entire body ached, it had probably been pumping adrenaline through me during this entire encounter. My ankle felt sprained, hard to put pressure on, and I had a lot of dried blood on me. My blood. I groaned in agreement. "Er- Big G- wait, can I call you that? Actually, I don't really care. Can you not start war with me and my friends, because I've already been having a crappy week and I don't need this."I spat.
The angels all gasped in unison.
"Do not speak to me like this, boy!"God fumed, appearing directly in front of me, I began to sweat. "Just who do you think you are?!"He yelled into my face like Jade would sometimes do at camp.I smirked, "The most handsome son of Mammon alive, more handsome than you."
"I'm gonna kill him! You want me to kill him, dad?!"Ramiel stood up. "Sit back down."God ordered, she sat down.
"This is going no where."God sighed, with a flick of the wrist, Ellisse had disappeared, I let out a brittle, "No!"
"Isabelle, take him back to his cell, make sure he is beaten for defying me."God grinned, disappearing in thin air, leaving the scent of expsensive colone and hairspray.
"Hurry up, Demon! I don't have all day!"Isabelle ran over to me, gripping tightly onto my wrist and flying me back to my cage as I dangled in the air. She threw me in, I slammed against the cage bars.
"STUPID! STUPID! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING!"She screamed. "Demons, Isabelle, calm down."I smiled blankly."I WILL NOT 'CALM DOWN' YOU MADE ME LOOK BAD!"Isabelle yelled in rage. "You already look bad, I was just making you look worse!"I retorted, "UGHH! YOU ARE SO ANNOYING!"Isabelle screamed.
"That's kind of my thing."I half-smiled, in which I recived a punch in the gut.
She was going to hate me for awhile, wasn't she?
