It had been almost a week and luckily no one found out about the Jefferson and Hamilton dating. It was hard, especially with their friends trying to get them together, even if they already were.
Philip walked into Angie's room and started fixing the sleeves to his button down. "Ella's coming over and bringing Mary."
Angie looked up from her phone and tossed it onto her bed. "Oh good, I was just about to text her. Wait, why are you dressed nice?"
He laughed. "What? I can't just dress nice?"
"Awww you wanna impress Ella," the younger girl cooed.
"No! They're just coming over for dinner and once again mom told me to look nice! That's all." The tall boy looked away, trying not to give anything away.
"Mhm.." Angie smirked. "Well, you're obviously lying, but I'll dress nice too"
Philip rolled his eyes and walked out of the room. His sister stayed in her room, getting ready.
A little while later the Jefferson kids showed up at the Hamilton's. The eldest two Hamilton kids answered the door, letting Eleanor and Mary in.
Philip stared at his girlfriend, a little surprised at the change in outfit. She was wearing a loose fitting, satin button up with black jeans. Her natural, curly hair resting on her shoulders and a pair of glasses sitting on her face.
"You like it?" Ella asked. Philip smiled and nodded. "I decided to wear what I want for once."
"You have glasses?" He asked.
"I forgot to order more contacts," the younger answered shyly.
The curly haired boy rest a hand on her shoulders. He wanted to grab her hand, but he knew that was a bad idea. "I like them."
The younger siblings went up to Angie's room, to be alone before eventually someone ruined that. Angelica desperately wanted to confess her feelings, unknowing that Mary wanted the same thing. Both of them too scared to ruin anything, they just sat up there talking and laughing.
After a while, the girls' laughter slowed and they looked at each other. Angelica's eyes glanced from Mary's eyes, to her lips. The dark-skinned girl noticed and a deep blush spread across her face. Angie found her hand moving up to the other girl's cheek and her thumb slowly caressed it. The teens leaned into each other without realizing and soon enough their eyes were fluttering closed. Their lips met, Mary bringing her hand to Angie's hair.
Meanwhile Philip had been passing by his sister's room when he saw it. He quickly, yet quietly, went to go get Ella. He grabbed her wrist without saying anything and dragged her out of his room.
"Philip wh-"
He quickly shushed her and pointed to Angelica's room. Ella's eyes lit up at the sight. After a short moment the younger two broke apart and stared at each other as if they were the only people alive. They frantically turned their heads when they heard someone clearing their throat. Leaning on opposite sides of the doorframe were their older siblings, smirking.
"I think it should be illegal that you had your first kiss younger than me," Ella commented.
Both younger girls blushed and Mary looked at her sister. "Wait, have you even had your first kiss?"
"Yeah, John, remember?"
"Oh yeah," Mary muttered.
Philip's head jerked towards Ella, away from his sister's room. His eyebrows furrowed together and his nose scrunched. "JOHN was your first kiss?"
Ella's eyes flickered towards her boyfriend as she remembered he never knew that, but they quickly went back forward. "Yeah," she said nonchalantly, hoping he didn't seem suspicious.
Philip realized why she wasn't looking at him and quickly changed the topic. "So are you two finally dating?"
Angie looked at Mary. Mary simply said, "I'm good with that" as a smile spread across her face.
Angie smiled and turned to the older kids. "Yeah."
Philip and Ella smiled. They were beyond happy for their sisters and had been waiting for this day.
"What about you guys?" Angie asked smugly.
Philip blushed and internally panicked as Ella stayed calm. She rolled her eyes and sarcastically laughed. "In his dreams."
Mary raised her eyebrows and looked between Ella and Philip before looking back at her now girlfriend. Angie looked at them deadpanned and said, "I hope you know he's horrible at keeping secrets."
Ella's eyes widened, but her eyebrows got lower. She slowly turned to face a petrified Philip, who saw his life flash before his eyes. "Is he now?" A tight smile came onto her face.
"I never said anything!" Philip quickly defended, throwing his hands up.
She lifted her arms just to throw them back down. The younger girls' faces lit up. "I knew it!" Angie screeched.
"Wait seriously?! You guys are dating!?" Mary grinned. The girls were more excited their siblings were dating then themselves.Ella sighed and turned away from Philip, who let out a breath of relief that his girlfriend spared his life. "Not a word to anyone," the oldest girl pointed a finger at the girls sitting on the bed. "Especially not our friends."
"Or our dads," Philip added.
"Yes," Ella snapped and pointed to her boyfriend. "That especially."
"Kids! Dinner's ready!" Eliza called from downstairs.
"Are you two gonna start a riot or are you gonna wait until we do?" Eleanor asked, jokingly. The four kids knew once word got out one of the pairs was dating, it was going to cause complete hell to break loose from Alexander and Thomas.
"Haven't decided yet," Angie smirked and grabbed Mary's hand.
"Come on guys, let's go downstairs," Philip said, with a laugh.
