Brittany was pulling on her clothes and tossing mine at me. As I pulled on my clothes she told me to go on the balcony and wait until he left, then she would answer all my questions. I gave her a worried look but I snatched up all my clothes and ran onto the balcony. I got dressed, careful to not let her neighbors see me naked, and peeked through the window to watch them.
Brittany opened the door and she let her boyfriend inside. This is going to be interesting. "Baby, I grabbed us some coffee. One vanilla latte for the most beautiful woman in the world." He told her. He leaned in for a kiss, and she turned her head away from him. Her face was twisted in a strange expression.
"Look, Max, um, I need to tell you something." She told him with obvious hesitation.
"What is it babe?" He said, obviously oblivious to her hesitation and fear.
"I can't do this. We're better off alone." she said, a single tear fell down her cheek.
"What? Why?" Max said to her. His face was hurt, he looked as if he just saw a puppy being torn into shreds.
"I've changed a lot." she said. Little did he know that meant her sexuality.
"Okay, well, I'm going to head into work, I'll, uh, be back around 6 tonight. I'm sure you won't be here when I get back though." Max said, obviously heart broken. He shuffled outside, closing the door slowly and quietly behind him.
As soon as I heard him drive away, I came inside. "What the flippin hell?" I said, my eyes wide and my heart still racing.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know what I liked until I met you last night. I had felt off, with Max, and well I know what I like now. Can you forgive me?" she said, now really crying. I wanted to tell her she was horrible and that I couldn't be with someone like that, but then again, isn't that what happened with me and my ex? He left because I felt off. I guess he knew who I was deep down, and he saw right through me. I wanted to walk away from Brittany but I also know what it's like to know what you want after only one night. It's not like I knew anyone who was into girls. Lila was definitely straight. She's really beautiful but she would never want me like that.
"Yes, of course...I was just....I don't know. I didn't know what I liked until I met you either." I said, still a little shaky. "Wanna go to my place? Pack a bag, you can stay at my house for a bit, okay?" I offered.
"I'd love that. Come help me pack." Brittany said, her face lighting up. She dashed off into the direction of a large bedroom.
We went into her room, and we grabbed, well we grabbed everything. She had a HUGE duffel bag in the bottom of her closet, it said CPD on the side, I'm pretty sure it stood for Chicago Police Department but I just shrugged it off. She threw all of her wardrobe into the bag, zipped it up, and started walking out of the bedroom with me close behind.
We raced out the door and hopped in my car. She kissed me and said "Hey so wanna be my girlfriend?" She blurted out.
"Of course!" I said, a little confused. Wow. That's fast. We went to my place and we threw the bag on the floor. We were instantly kissing and taking off our clothes. I knew she was craving more since we got interrupted earlier by Max. I heard a knock. My French Bulldog, Butcher, started to bark. I got up, put on my robe, and Brittany borrowed on of my other robes, and we both walked to the door. I looked out the peephole to see who was interrupting us once again. It was Kevin, my ex-boyfriend, standing outside, with tulips, and some chocolate. Oh shit.
