By now, we have moved into my house together. Her house sold easily, giving us about 20,000 to keep. It wasn't a big house, but a little family bought it right off the market within a week. We were currently painting our new bedroom. We decided to do an aqua green, and it complimented the room nicely.
"Ha! Got you!" Lila screamed right after she slapped my ass. I turned around and looked at my dark grey PINK shorts, and saw an aqua green hand print on my left buttcheek.
"Oh how dare you! Get over here!" I hollered and chased her in a circle until I wrapped my arms around her waist and got aqua green handprints on boobs and stomach.
"So unfair!" She protested.
"Fight me!" I challenged, laughing.
"I will!" She said, jumping onto me, making me fall down on the plastic covered carpet. I laughed and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"You evil little-"
"Angel?" She questioned, cutting me off.
"I was going to say devil but whatever." I mumbled.
"Take that back!" She told me.
"Never!" I said, and she crashed her lips into mine. I easily got lost in the kiss, and she rolled me over so I was on top. I was easily able to wrap my legs around her waist and pin her arms to the ground. I pulled away, my arms still pinning hers, and I smirked.
"How dare you!" She said.
"Ha! I win!" I said, "What's my prize?" I questioned, laughing.
"Me." Lila said, giggling.
"I couldn't have asked for anything better." I whispered before kissing her once more.
"Alright, you can have the rest of me tonight." She said, pushing me off of her. "But for now, we need to finish painting this room."
"Fine. Well while we paint, let's talk about something that's been on my mind a lot lately." I offered, painting a big chunk of white wall, now aqua green.
"What's that?" She asked, dipping her paintbrush in some paint.
"Our wedding." I told her. Lila spun around on her heels, and looked at me with surprise.
"You only purposed to me a few weeks ago..."
"I know, and I wanted to start planning." I said, laughing nervously.
"Okay, well where would you want it?" She asked.
"I was thinking maybe by the ocean." I said.
"On the coast?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said. "I had pictured it on the coast of Key West, all nice and done up."
"Well it's only half an hour drive." She said.
"Exactly."
"And we could have it on the dock, and we could have a huge tent with food and stuff. And rose petals. And sea shells." She said, rambling.
"I love that." I said.
"Colors?" She asked.
"Pearl white and sapphire." I said, smiling.
"Oooh I like that. And we can have our bridesmaids dresses in a sapphire blue, and the mens ties will be sapphire blue. And the table clothes will be pearl white and we can have pearl white sea shells and then we can have a huge thing that goes above our heads and it can be pearl white with sapphire flowers twisted around it." She said, smiling.
"I love it." I whispered.
"I love you." Lila said, crashing her lips into mine passionately. I wrapped my arms around her neck, and she lifted me up into the air and I instictivley wrapped my legs around her waist.
"Are we done painting?" I asked, pulling away slightly breathless.
"Yeah, now you're mine." She said.
"I always have been and always will be." I said, before she crashed her lips into mine again. But then there was a knock at the door. I walked down stairs, and opened the door.
"Jasmine?"
"Daddy?" I asked. I haven't seen him since I was five and he left my mother and I.
"This should be interesting." Lila said, smirking.
