2 Years Later...
"Saph! Pick up your toys!" I hollered at my daughter. She ran around, collecting her toys she had sprung around our home. Since Jazmine had passed, I hadn't been doing too good. But Sapphire and I were making progress. I was only a month and a half along the pregnancy when she passed, so it was a struggle.
Saph was growing into a beautiful little girl. I had put myself through school, I'm becoming a nurse. I am going to work in pediatrics. I am a part time nnurse at the hospital down the street, the day care is right across the street so it's easy for me to work and go get her.
I picked of Saph, "Where are your clothes?" I questioned.
"Dunno." She mumbled, shrugging. I shook my head, giggling.
"Looks like we're going to need to find you some clothes. You can't go to day care naked, sweetie." I said, carrying her into her room. I scanned through her dozens of outfits. I pulled out a cute pair of lime green shorts and a black v neck t shirt, and a pair of black strap on flats. I sat down and went to help her, but she stopped me.
"Mommy! no! I do." She said pulling on her shirt. She pulled up her elastic waste shorts. She slammed down on her bum, pulling on her shoes.
"Okay, good job!" I said, straightening her clothes a little. She smiled and followed me out the door. I buckled her into her car seat, and got inside. I drove to the day care, and carried her inside. "Bye sweetie, be good. Mommy will be back soon." I said, kissing Sapphires cheek, and giving her a hug.
"Bye bye mommy." She said, waving, and she ran to the playset. I walked to the hospital, starting my shift.
"Ma'am I need you to calm down." One of my co-workers said, I looked up to see Jackson talking to a blonde woman who was crying and screaming.
"Jax, what's wrong?" I asked, walking over.
"This young woman claims this hospital was the reason for her childs death." Jackson says, looking a bit angry. I looked over at the woman. I gasped, and my eyes widened.
"Brittany?" I asked.
"YOU!" Brittany screamed.
"You two know eachother?" Jackson asked.
"Something like that." I mumbled. Well. This is gonna be interesting.
