"xiao i know you're going through puberty but-"
What emotion did the two of them feel? Betrayal? Regret? Humiliation? Venti couldn't tell. Because he couldn't stop laughing.
He felt bad for the poor kid, but it was just too funny to be able to hold it in. Zhongli looked destroyed, and it wasn't even him being exposed. It just proved when you take things away from your kids, they'll just take it further (and hide it from you better)
But Venti was a little curious. Who wouldn't be? And honestly, being able to write an entire slow burn fanfiction on the back of a sheet of paper was impressive. Maybe he just had really small handwriting, or maybe a blunt writing style. Ahem... enough wondering.
The court case was settled in Venti's favour. Zhongli was let off, though embarrassed. But Venti didn't care that justice wasn't truly served. He just got to laugh at that old man. And in Venti's eyes, that was a good resolution.
And based on what ei had overheard and then told venti...
That emo freak was on his knees begging Zhongli not to read the fanfic. heh, venti thought. Kids these days.
