Avengers' POV

Once Y/n was in her room, the Avengers (Tony, Steve, Bruce and Nat) met to discuss the last three weeks. Tony spoke first.

"Romanoff, what have you done to her? I remember the first walk, she loved it, she felt everything she could in the garden. But since your first training, she is different. She doesn't care about what I'm saying, nor the landscape. It's like she doesn't even want to be outside. She seems to be lost in her head, even though she shows no emotions at all."

"How would that be my fault Tony?" answered the red head.

"Well, it's easy. We are the only two who interact with her. The others are only useful for the scenery. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't done anything to her." Tony replied.

"So you think I did something?" Natasha started to get angry.

"Guys calm down. We have to be a team here, alright?" Steve intervened. "What's happening is not easy for any of us. And Tony, I don't think it's Nat's fault."

"Of course it's not! But you're still onto something Tony." she sighed " I remember our first fight. It was weird. A lot of what happened that morning was weird." started to say Romanoff, this caught the attention of the other 3.

So she began to explain how the morning had gone.

"We first ran together and I saw that she was holding back. When I mentioned it to her, when I told her to just give it away she said she couldn't. The fact that she was speaking was surprising enough, but that wasn't what unsettled me at the time. It was more the panic in her eyes when she spoke. That emotion vanished as quickly as it had appeared, and I thought I saw anger just before her eyes went blank."

     She paused.

"Then we continued training, and it was during our sparring session that something else unusual happened. I won. The match was supposed to last 5 minutes, but it only lasted a single minute, and Y/n did practically nothing—she didn't put up any resistance. She just lost. She didn't seem focused, and at the end of the match I thought I saw anger in her eyes, but since she was injured, I couldn't look closely. Since then, the only thing that's changed is that every fight ends in a draw. Y/n does nothing but dodge or block. She never really attacks, and yet I get the feeling she wants to. How is she with you Tony?"

"She's no different from when she's with you. She doesn't do anything—she just walks beside me, staring straight ahead, and that's it. It feels like I'm walking with a robot. She doesn't react to anything at all anymore. She doesn't listen to me when I talk, she doesn't look at me, she doesn't smell the flowers, and she doesn't take the time to breathe in the fresh air. She's constantly on the lookout. Yet she doesn't seem like she wants to attack or anything. But I find her different from when she was in her cell. I don't understand what's going on, but I don't think asking her would be very helpful. Unfortunately, I just don't know what else to do." explained Tony.

Nobody spoke for a few seconds.

Bruce was the first to break the silence.

"Maybe that's exactly the problem."

     Tony looked at him.

"What?"

"You said she looks like she's constantly on the lookout."
