Chapter 26

(Friday, 13th May)

For the whole household, it has been a really hard intense week, especially Piper. As she got told that her Dad has only a month left or so to live.

So it has been extremely hard on her.

Like how he isn't going to attend her graduating university, engagement, wedding, her first baby.

She can't picture that without him..

And picturing the most important days of her life, and knowing her father won't be involved in that anymore.

That really upsets her.

She just can't really imagine what her mom is feeling right now, her parents have been together since high school, they both married their high school sweetheart.

Got married during high school which wasn't a good impression on the school, but they were madly in love and didn't care of what everyone thinks, they had James when she graduated high school when she was 18 and her dad was 20.

And then had Piper 3 years later.

Now years later, her dad in a month away from saying goodbye to the world forever.

Finn walks in and sees her on their bed sitting miserable, tears running down her face.

She wipes them away immediately.

As he notices her, she wipes away her tears immediately.

"Pipes, its going to be okay" Finn rushes over to her and rests his head next to her.

She sobs.

"How do you know that?"

"My mom said he's gonna die not in a year A MONTH! I don't know what I'm going to do without him" Piper sobs onto her boyfriends chest.

"Ssshh." He calms her down.

He turns over to her.

"Piper, whatever happens, I love you so much and I hate seeing you like this, you mean the absolute world and no matter what happens nothing will happen between us" Finn says.

She turns over to him.

"I love you so much, you don't understand" Piper kisses him.

"I love you too"

"We are getting through this together" Finn smiles at her.

She kisses his lips softly.

"I really wouldn't know what I would do this without you" Piper says quietly.

"The thing about this is that I'm really scared that when my dad is gone I'm going to have a terrible future because I always thought of my dad being in the best important days of my life" Piper smiles as she leans her head on his chest as he kisses her forehead.

He looks at her.

"What important days?" Finn asks.

Piper smiles at her boyfriend, before she opens her mouth. "Um, well my wedding, I always imagined my dad walking me down the isle to marry my future husband and having the daddy daughter dance, him meeting my first child. This scares me so much because now he wont be apart of my life anymore soon." Piper says as tears running down her face.

He looks at her as he smiles happily. "I can't wait for that day with you, I love you so much Piper May Chaves as you will become Piper May Mackie"

"I can't wait to marry you one day, that will be the best and emotional days of my life" Piper smiles.

"But we are going to Paris for our honeymoon!" Finn exclaims.

She nods. "Of course, our dream destination."

She stares up at the ceiling, biting her tongue, trying not to cry again.

"Hey come here" Finn hugs her tightly as he tucks a piece of hair behind her ear.

He rests his head on her head and kisses her lips passionately.

"I love you always and forever" Finn says.

"Living with you for the past 9 months has been the best time ever, and when we permentally move in together I honestly cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you" Piper smiles.

She lies next to him as she falls asleep on him.

Piper walks into the kitchen as she sees Henry making a cup of tea.

"Hey" She says as she sits down.

"How are you?" Henry asks.

She sighs.

"I mean I'm not doing that good, but I'm trying to be okay because you guys mean everything to me, but with Finn I just broke down, lying on the floor." Piper rubs her eyes.

He looks at her and immediately hugs her.

"I'm so sorry you have to go through this! We are all here for you" Henry says as he sits down next to her.

"Thank you" She says happily.

She stands up to make her coffee as he stops her.

"No I'll make it, sit down" Henry demands.

Piper sits down as a few minutes later, he brings her coffee.

It's been a really tough day for Piper but a movie is definitely what she needs right now.

They are in a musical mood right now, so they all decided as it is 9:00 to binge the high school musical movies. And the group was pretty much born at that point when the first movie came out.

"Oh my god, I love Gabriella and troy, they make me to be inspired to be a better singer" Amy says.

"Same Aimes"

Piper wrapped her body around Finn as they are watching the movie, cuddling up together feeling the love they had today.

They are in the middle of the first film as she sees her phone turn on from the coffee table seeing a incoming call from the hospital.

She answers it and walks out of the room.

"Do I pause or continue?" Henry says.

"No, she's seen the films about 50,000 times" Finn laughs.

They continue watching the movie and Finn can't get out of his head that something happened because It's been over 5 minutes since she got the call.

The movie nearly ends as everyone hears sobbing coming through Piper and Finn's room as she coming racing into the living room, tears running down her face as she has been crying forever and looks It's really serious.

"Piper what happened" Finn panics.

She starts to break down again.

They all are standing in front of her, looking confused and scared of what's happening.

"He's gone. My dad just died there now..." Piper says as she breaks down as she sobs loudly and then Finn runs as fast as he can to comfort her as the whole group calm her down and hug her.

"Piper I'm so sorry, we are all here for you" Amy says.

"I love you so much. It's going to be okay" Finn says.

"We are so sorry Piper" Henry says.

The whole group hug and give Piper comforting words.

That's it all gone.

He's gone and away now.

In heaven.

But he's in a better place now..
