Chapter 37

(Saturday, 9th July)

The past day was a real challenge for Piper.

She continued to put a brave face for her best friends but couldn't hide it with Finn It's too hard to lie to him.

For the past day it has been spent with big cuddles from Finn and watching their favourite shows together, filled with him going out of his way around 9pm to get her favourite ice cream: Ben and Jerry's chocolate chip ice cream. And bought her flowers the next morning before sunrise to surprise her after she woke up around 11am.

And he ordered her pizza by cheering her down as she was really emotional and upset the whole day, when she got the food it came with cuddles with her boyfriend and made her entire day massively.

"Okay Pipes, here's your antibiotic." Finn enters the room with a glass of water and sits next to her and hands her the water and tablet.

Piper puts the antibiotic in her mouth and gulps it quickly down her throat.

After yesterday she felt she was in parallel world as she felt the worst she ever felt in her life.

"Thank goodness that Monday is my last day of taking these." Piper sighs in relief.

He chuckles.

"Yeah because you felt really sick. I'm just so happy your throat feels a lot better today which makes me a lot better." Finn says as he's lying down next to Piper and she rests her chin on his shoulder.

"I love you." Piper says as he kisses her forehead lightly.

He runs his hands through her smooth, dark brunette hair.

"These past 10 months has showed me that you have the most incredible hair ever." Finn smiles gazing into her eyes.

She chuckles and rests her hand on her pillow and the other on him.

"And your just figuring that out now?" Piper laughs.

"No of course not!" Finn smiles.

"I mean I got a shower this morning so that's why it may look nicer." Piper runs her hands through her so called 'incredible' hair.

He simply shakes his head.

"No looks perfect any day, looked lovely yesterday."

"Well thank you so much for that compliment it really means everything to me as I've had some tough days for the past days. I wouldn't be here without you. I love you." Piper gazes into his eyes.

He moves closer to her as she smiles into his eyes.

"I love you too."

"Hey girl!" Amy exclaims happily as she enters Piper and Finn's bedroom.

Piper smiles as she sees her best friend and sits up to face her when she comes to sit directly at her.

"How you holding up with this tonsillitis and basically everything?" Amy asks her.

Piper sighs deeply.

"I mean I got to be honest with you I feel like Finn is being way too overprotective over all of this and I'm not the sixteen year old girl anymore I don't know why he does this." Piper says honestly.

Amy grabs her hand while gives her a concerned look.

"Piper, you do know that Finn is doing this so much because he loves you very much, you don't want to be the couple who breaks up like every single little fight you have for example: Kingston and Lily! So all of this is showing you that he cares a lot about you and wants you to be happy." Amy explains to her.

Now she understands it now.

All the years when her and Finn got together and James was really protective at the start.

It all makes so much sense now.

She seems so stupid right now.

But it all adds up now.

"Ames I actually feel like a entire idiot right now." Piper says after thinking of the tiredness she got because of James. But it was only because he was looking out for her and he cared a lot for her.

James and Piper are really close.

"No your not!"

"But I'm just so happy you finally found your person and soulmate forever Piper." Amy smiles and she already knows what she's gonna say.

She chuckles.

"Ames, I know what your gonna say, Finn and I are not engaged and won't be for a little couple years, I feel we are so strong in our relationship but wrong time." Piper says.

"I haven't seen you so happy since, you make me the most happiest best friend for you." Amy smiles.

Piper looked at her best friend in awe's.

"It's just I start my last year in university in September and then my 1 year degree in my dance course over in Vancouver, then after that I wanna travel the world for a year. It would put so much anxiety for me right now and I hope Finn notices that." Piper says throwing her head back.

She nods in understandable.

"Yeah of course I just want you to be happy."

"I am with Finn I always will be." Piper insures her.

As they begin conversation a knock on the door they look at each other concerned, no one should be at the door as It's 9pm.

Amy goes to the door as Piper waits for her to come back.

She opens the door as a envelope written with her name on it.

As she gets really excited she walks back to Piper and opens it in front of her and she cannot believe what it say.

"Oh my god!" She screams as the boys come running into the room concerned.

"What the hell is happening." Henry asks his girlfriend.

"I GOT INTO THE YORK UNIVERSITY MY DREAM SCHOOL THEY PUT A DANCE COURSE ONTO IT!" Amy screams at the top of her lungs.

"What! I'm so happy babe I'm so proud of you." He pulls his girlfriend in a long hug and kisses her lips softly.

Tears start to fall down her face in happiness.

"Ames were so happy." Finn says as Piper and Finn hug her.

"Yay!! My best friend got into her dream school!" Piper says in excitement so excited for her future.
