Chapter 38

(Wednesday, 20th July)

"Are we packing up everything today?" Piper asks her boyfriend standing next to him packing up some of their decorations as she puts her hands in the pockets of her jeans.

He looks at her and itches his neck.

"No definitely not! Just the just the stuff like the decor and other stuff but not the clothes and that other shit as we will need to still wear for the next 3 days.

It still doesn't feel real they'll be saying goodbye to this place in a few days.

"Yeah okay, I'm going to pack my clothes I'm not wearing because it will give me total anxiety and I'll be stressing out the morning of the move." Piper exhales.

Finn comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her stomach kissing her lips.

"Hey you don't need to stress were not leaving right early in the morning and I'll even help you pack the night before." Finn says holding her hand.

She looks at him and smiles.

"Thank you, I love you." Piper says.

Finn lets go of her and he goes into his drawers and chucks a bunch of his music sheets in his suitcase for packing.

"Should we keep the photos of us still sat here or leave them here till Friday night?" Finn holds up one of the photo frame.

It was them both of them on the beach on a summer night by the sunset.

And it was an amazing night together.

"I remember that night so much, I still have a feeling in my head the whole night." Piper squeezes her eyes shut remembering in her head that night over and over again.

"Same can't believe that was already a year ago since that was taken." Finn exclaims.

She shakes her head.

"Yeah time flies when your having fun." Piper says.

"Yeah keep it up." Piper smiles

Finn nods his head and sets it back on the shelf.

"Okay lets try to get this table away." Piper deeply sighs.

"God this is gonna be hard. This is why I always have my mom for these stuff." Finn chuckles.

"Yeah." Piper walks over to him and visions in her head how this is gonna to fall apart.

"I don't even remember setting up this." He says jokily.

She looks at him serious.

"Are you kidding me Finn?" Piper exclaims at him.

But she's clearly not surprised at him.

"I'm sorry! Henry and Amy could of done this when we came here or it maybe was already here. I don't think I payed for this table." Finn says.

"Wait! I'll call the owner of the house and see if the table was already here." He chuckles excitedly.

"Okay!" Piper says.

"Pipes could you help me with pack up the kitchen?" Amy asks her as she sees her in the living room scrolling through her phone.

"Yeah of course!" Piper looks at her best friend and smiles.

They both walk into the kitchen together and start collecting everything they need to pack for now.

"Okay so we still need the toaster, plates, mugs, knifes, forks." Amy says.

"Yeah and the food is still in use for food for about 2 more days because on Saturday morning I'll probably have a coffee and then have Henry and I will go to McDonalds on the way home." Amy exclaims.

Piper nods in agreement.

"Yeah same, coffee and a chocolate roll will do me." She chuckles.

"I don't know I feel a bit sad but excited to leave because new opportunities coming for me. I was thinking after I finish my dance course in Vancouver I will maybe take a year off dance and focus on myself and travel the world and visit new cities." Piper says anxiously.

Amy turns to her.

"What! That's amazing, I would defo do that. You should totally do that as soon you finish your course" Amy encourages her.

"Have you told Finn about this?"

Piper nods her head.

"No but this isn't a 100% thing like I'm not totally thinking of doing it and I bet he will want me to do this aswell because he's always telling me to do whatever I want." Piper smiles.

"So he wants rid of you!" Amy laughs.

"Oh my god no! Of course I would miss him more than anything. But he would say I miss you but go for this." She chuckles.

"Then go for this, if this is your dream thing to do go for it!"

"Thank you Ames." Piper says and hugs her best friend.

She's really gonna miss living with her best friends and boyfriend. This is the last week ever.
