We sorted everything out and I showed the guys how to make a bottle. Julian took a turn holding Amelia and feeding her. I made my way to the kitchen to start cooking. Ryan followed and poured me a glass of wine as I started mixing together dough for pasta.

"So how is life of a big successful chef?" Ryan asked, taking a sip of his own wine.

"Took the question right out of my mouth," Jackson said, coming into the kitchen with us.

"It's good, my boss is giving me a promotion because she doesn't want me to leave to run my own place. I don't know if I am going to take it yet," I say, trying not to think about it too much.

"You never told me that," Nick says, coming into the kitchen with the jars I asked him to get.

I take the jars from him and say, "Yeah well my Nonni died, and my brother decided to stop calling me. So, I guess you wouldn't know."

He sighs and hangs his head before going back to the front room.

"Harsh G," Ryan says before grabbing a knife and starting to chop onions. "But you guys are Italian and there is no excuse for not calling your family." He repeats what I was just about to say myself. I smile at him, bumping my shoulder with his.

"She would hate this, us fighting," I whisper.

"Yeah, she would, but she would also say that you should talk to him about this," he says.

"I will, later. Right now we have to figure out how you guys are going to manage raising a baby girl," I say before turning to the other man in the room, "Jackson you need to talk to him. Tell him that he should have been more careful, but it happened and that you support him."

"I know, she is his daughter, and she isn't going anywhere. Besides, she will have all of us wrapped around her little finger by the end of the day."

"Tell Julian and Nick to bring her in here so you can talk to him," I say. He nods and heads off. They entered the kitchen a couple minutes later and I took the baby from them. I held her in my arms and hummed a little as she looked up at me. I couldn't understand how her mom could just dump her on anyone. She was beautiful, with dark brown curls, full puckered lips, and freckles covering her cheeks. Her eyes were gray just like Chase's and she had thick eyelashes covering them.

"Sweet bella," I repeated softly as she drifted back to sleep.

"Her name isn't Bella," Julian said confused.

"Bella means beautiful or beauty," Nick said, watching me with a smile. I smiled back at him.

"Watching you with a baby reminds me of our pact," Ryan said from my side, watching me with soft eyes.

I smiled and said, "We have got a few more years to find someone before it comes to that."

"I'm still upset that you made that pact with him and not me. I'm your best friend after all," Julian said with a huff.

"Come on Tesoro, you know all my secrets. I can't marry someone who knows all my secrets," I said before giving him a big kiss on the cheek. He gave me a small blush and nodded. I hand the baby back to him and turn back to the food.

"God, every time you come around I have trouble remembering how we ever got on without you. I mean, you left, and Lisa dumped me, Chase got a kid, and all we can do is say 'call Giana'. I mean we are hopeless," Ryan says

I gasp, "Wait what? Lisa broke up with you," I say, turning back to him.

"Yeah, after I proposed. Apparently, she was sleeping with her dentist and he made her a better offer," Ryan said with a shrug. "What about you? What happened to the lawyer?"

"I dumped him," I said without adding more.

"Tell them why. Tell them why," Julian said eagerly. Damn I forgot he knew.

"Ugh fine. I broke up with him because he was bad in bed. He was a 68er," I said quickly.

"A what? God this is gross," Nick asked, a little scared.

"It's like 69 but he owed me one," I said. They all howled in laughter and were holding their stomach. I raised an eyebrow and waited.

"I'm sorry, it's not funny. It's just what kind of guy doesn't want to do that. How is it that you, the most beautiful woman I know, attracts the worst guys?" Ryan said, still trying not to laugh.

"Stupidos, all of them," I said to Amelia.

My phone suddenly rang and I jumped to answer it.

"Hello," I replied without even looking at the screen.

"Hey sugar," came Ellie's voice. My best friend, the lawyer.

"Hey, did you look over those papers?"

"Yeah, I couldn't make out certain parts due to the pictures but I really need to see it in person. Do you think I can meet up with you? I already didn't like some parts," she says.

"Shit. Yeah, can you come two towns over and look at it here. I really need you tonight because we need to be prepared for tomorrow. You can stay the night and everything," I said looking over at the boys who were falling over themselves to try and hear.

"Are you sure it would be okay?" she asks.

"Yeah, this is an open house. You need a place to crash, you have it. Simple as that,"

"Okay I will leave after this work dinner," she said.

"Okay see you then. Oh and Ellie, bring your swimsuit."
