Five pizzas later and Jack had gone back to work leaving us waiting on Julian to get home. I decided we needed to get some stuff done so I sent Nick to get three lasagnas and I went with Chase to the store to get some more stuff for Amelia. Ryan stayed home and babysat.

"I was thinking about getting some paint and starting to paint her nursery. What do you think?" Chase said as we headed into the department store.

"I think that sounds great, let's do a light purple color with a white trim. I also want to get her a bookcase and some books for when she gets older and wants a bedtime story. She also needs a real crib, that way we can leave the playpen downstairs and she can sleep there when you are doing stuff. We had talked about getting the walkie talkies too. And she needs more clothes, five outfits is not enough," I said, rattling off the list in my head.

"And she is almost out of diapers again," he said with a sigh.

"Okay, let's grab two baskets. You go get paint, crib, bookcase, and a dresser. I'll go get clothes, diapers, blankets, and formula," I said looking at him for confirmation.

"I don't know what I would do without you. You always know exactly what to do," he says, giving me a hug. "Hey, how about I make the bookcase, because she doesn't need it for a little while. I will buy the crib and dresser though," he said.

"That's a good idea. Oh and make sure the dresser is something she can use for years. Look for white or dark wood," I said before kissing his cheek and heading to my direction.

Chase found me once he had finished getting all his stuff. His eyes were wide as he took in the crazy amount of stuff in my basket. I had gotten clothes in different sizes so she would be covered for the next six months. I had found her bed sets to match her room and about ten stuffed animal toys. I stocked up on enough formula and diapers for two weeks. I had gotten the baby monitor and a crib camera. I also got a mirror for the car so Chase could see her face while he was driving. I found a purple and gray rug with butterflies on it to match her room. I also found shirts for all the boys saying things like 'new dad' and 'new uncle' and a special one for Jack. I wasn't going to show those to Chase just yet though.

"Are you buying the whole store?" he asks.

"The diaper and formula will only last for two weeks and the clothes will last for six months. I guess I didn't have to get this many stuffed animals though," I say as I look over the cart. I take out three of the stuffed animals and nod. I can live with seven.

"Okay guess we might as well get out of here before we find something else we need," Chase says as we head to check out.

"You go get started I need to get some cinnamon," I say before heading in that direction. After finding what I need, I turn around to see Mr.Tosoli. He sees me and walks over with a big smile on his face.

"Look at you all grown up and gorgeous," he said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Well if it isn't my favorite boss," I said, shaking my head at him with a smile. "I have been meaning to stop in for some fresh fish."

"Afraid that wouldn't be possible, I have retired and I am selling the restaurant," he said with a sad smile.

"What? You can't retire," I pout.

"I'm sorry dear, but if you have decided you are ready to open your own place, let me know. I could work out a payment plan if you wanted to by the building," he says with hopeful eyes.
