I looked over at Mani who had isolated himself and he was talking on the phone.

"Well.. I have someone coming over today that I want you to meet." He admitted before I furrowed my eyebrows

I knocked on the door just for Mrs Smith to answer and she gave me a smile

"Happy Thanksgiving." She told me before giving me a hug and stepping aside to let me in

"Nae isn't here, but I www getting ready to text you anyways to see if you wanted to stop by and grab a plate." She told me

"Thank you, but I'm actually here to talk to Chris, is he here?" I asked before she slightly looked upstairs

"He's in his room, just knock on the door." She told me before I nodded and walked upstairs.

I knocked on his door and to my surprise Kaliyah opened it.

"My bad, am I interrupting something...?" I asked

"Nah Kaliyah was just leaving, I'm done having this conversation with you." Chris told her before opening the door wider

She looked me up and down before shaking her head

"See, and this was the shit I was talking about." She told him before leaving and he shut the door behind her.
