"Call yo paps." He told me causing me to look at him

"Did I stutter ?" He asked before shoving the phone at me

"You gon tell him you ok, we haven't touched you, and then give me the phone, if you bullshit that's yo ass." He said and I shook my head

"Call him." He demanded

After a while I dialed my daddy's contact and he immediately answered

"Saige?"

"Hey daddy, I'm ok and they haven't touched me." I told him before handing my phone that was on speaker to dude.

"So if y'all wanna keep shit like that, listen up." He spoke

"We gon make a simple trade, Not only are you going to give us back every fucking penny that you stole from my brother, but we want Mani too." He said

"Qua." My daddy sighed

"She don't got shit to do with this."He said

"Yea Ight nigga, you can either make the choice between yo son or yo daughter, or we getting out lick back either way." He said before hanging up and he threw the phone out the window causing me to furrow my eyebrows after a while I closed my eyes before taking a deep breath to stop tears from flowing.

I looked around in his car and I noticed he had a picture of him with his daughter in the dash.

"How old is she?" I asked before he side eyed me

"None of yo fucking business." He replied

"Damn Que I was just asking a question."I mumbled before he shook his head

"Is she your daughter ?" I asked

"Naww my brother." He sarcastically mumbled

"How was I supposed to know?" I asked before rolling my eyes

"You annoying the fuck out of me." He said

"Well my daddy always said if I got kidnapped they'd bring me back so.." I said before he slightly looked away to play off of his laughter

"My bad ima shut up." I said

"Please." He replied Before I rolled my eyes

Once they took me back and tied me up again at another location Tye came back downstairs and started talking to Qua and two other men

"So if they don't bring Mani, we kill her." One man spoke

"Nah that's not right." Mani spoke

"You forgetting the reason behind this shit, you the one who had to take care of Mani when they was in our city, and you didn't, so we don't give a fuck about her if it has to be her then it will be." One spoke before storming out the room

Tye looked at me before looking back at Qua and the other dude.

"Za come with me, Que stay here with her." Tye said before the other man followed Tye out and Qua smacked his teeth before sitting down.

After a while of looking at him I furrowed my eyebrows once I remembered who he was.

"Wait I remember you, you sat with me and Tye that week when I had to stay with him and his granny." I said before he looked at me

He was only about a year older than mw, but he lived in the same neighborhood as me me and he would be with me and Tye from time to time.
