Saige-

"So you're gonna miss out on Christmas ?" I asked

"Saige.. fuck Christmas, what part of I don't want to see that Nigga are you not understanding?" Mani asked and I rolled my eyes

"Mani offered his place for you to stay in, we could've had two separate ones, the Nevaeh chick his here to keep daddy and Crystal busy anyways, so me, you, and Anthony can just chill at the penthouse and watch Christmas movies like old times." I said before propping the phone up on my desk to where he could see me

He laughed before running his hand down his face.

"As lame as that sounds, you don't know the concept of the situation."

"Educate me." I replied and he sighed

"I'm coming with my own shit, once I start to interfere with his business, that makes us.. not enemies, but like opponents.. you know?" He asked

"Then don't interfere, you're all the way in Brooklyn." I shrugged

"Sounds good huh ? Paps and Dee are big, if I don't spread on their territory, there will be no territory for me to expand on, no territory no-"

"..money, got it." I sighed

"We'll see each other in a couple of days anyways ight ? Don't worry about me keep to head in them books and off of Chris." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes

"How are y'all doing ?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows

"Me and Chris ?" I smiled before looking up

"Naww."

"We've been good, getting out of this arguing everyday for no reason stage." I shrugged

"Mhm, was LA fun?" He asked

"It was ok, just a few issues-"

"Saige help get these groceries out the car please!"

I rolled my eyes before looking at the phone.

"Yea. Better say please lame ahh Nigga." Mani said and I smacked my teeth

"Love you, bye." I laughed

"Ight love you too." He replied before hanging up the phone

I went downstairs to help everyone and I grabbed a few bags before sitting them on the island.

"How was LA?" Crystal asked

"Huh?" I asked

"LA.." she trailed

"Oh, it was fun." I replied

"You went to LA?? That's fun." Nevaeh added and I cleared my throat

"They're going to Newyork in a few days, you should tag along." My daddy said and I raised my eyebrows

"Sorry but this is more of Nae's birthday Trip, so maybe next time." I said and he looked at me

"Nae wouldn't mind-"

"Daddy can we step out for a minute ?" I asked before walking into the living room and he followed after me

"I understand you want us to bond and all, but that's not the way to do it." I said and he sighed

"I know, just take it easy on her though, she's been through a lot, just as much as you have, and she could really use somebody real in her corner." He said before my phone went off

"Are we doing anything tonight ?" I asked and he furrowed his eyebrows

"Why?" I asked

"I told Chris I'd spend the night, his family invited me to a Holiday game night since tomorrow is Christmas Eve." I said
