Chris-

I dribbled the ball down the court before stepping outside my guard and going up for the shot. It fell through the net and I started jogging backwards for the ball.

"Aye Chris!" I heard and I looked at the top of the stands to see Anthony. I furrowed my eyebrows as I watched him take his time to come down, coach gave me a confused ass look and I shrugged at him.

"Hold on, Anthony Wright ?" Coach asked causing for Anthony to look at him.

"Coachh, it's good to see you." Anthony fake smiled. obviously Anthony didn't know this man, But that man knew all about Anthony, he had been following his basketball career for years

"it's good to see you too, what are you doing here ?" Coach asked after they called each other up

"Family emergency, I need to borrow Chris's
for about two days." He told him

"Two days? we have a game in Virginia tomorrow..?" Coach told him

"I know I know, but umm... his grandmother died." he told coach and his eyes went wide before he looked at me

"Christopher get over here." Coach told me and I shook my head

"Didn't I tell you to take care of yourself first and then worry about the court." He said and I scratched my head

I knew Ant was lying, but whatever the reason was it had to be important.

"I hear you." I told coach and he gave me a par on the back

"Take your time, and come back with your head ready to play ball." Coach told me and I nodded before leaving with Ant

"Ayo what the fuck ?" I asked once we walked out the gym

"Saige got shot at."

"Shot at ?? did she get hurt ? nigga Is she ok ?" I asked before pulling out my phone but Anthony pushed it back down.

"She's fine, but since you wanted to know so much, you need to pack your shit and be ready for this plane in an hour." Ant told me

"An hour.. nigga I have-"

"Stay here by to self if you want too, either get on the plane or don't." He shrugged and I shook my head

Omniscient/

saige heard knocking at the door and she groaned loudly before turning over. Dre was knocked out asleep in the other bed leaving her no choice but to get up. The hotel room was freezing and all she wanted to do was curl up for the days

Saige opened the door and she immediately made eye contact with Chris causing for her eyes to go wide.

She shut the door in his face before turning around and scratching her head

"I need to put clothes on!"

"Why didn't you have clothes on before ??" Chris asked but Saige ignored him as she threw a hoodie over her sports bra, and she slid some pajama shirts on.

She then opened the door and she noticed Anthony shaking his head before walking inside

"You didn't hear me ??" Chris asked as he walked in causing for Dre to wake up

"I heard you, I don't sleep with clothes on like that you know that." Saige waived off and he squinted his eyes at her before pulling her into a long comforting hug,

Even though it's only been a few days, Chris missed Saige, and he was very thankful that nothing had happened to her.

"What the fuck happened ?" Ant phony asked as Dre attempted to fully become awake.
