Εlektra's pov:

"Hi," I said, smiling like a complete fool.

"What a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect to see you here," Alexander said, his happiness clear in his voice.

"I'm here with my father. He wants to present me as the future Alpha of the Black Shadow Pack."

"Oh... you must be very proud," Alexander commented with a warm smile.

"I am! I really am!" I beamed.

"So, how have you been? I haven't seen you since the gathering. When I got back, I looked for you everywhere but couldn't find you."

"I left early. We sneaked out of the pack that day—you know, didn't want to get caught red-handed."

"Sneaked out? Why?" Alexander asked, curiosity piqued.

"Because Father doesn't approve of events like that."

"Why? Is he worried you might do something reckless?"

"No, the ban isn't just on me—it applies to the entire pack."

"Oh, I see. That must be really frustrating."

"Trust me, it is! All the young members are disappointed with Father's decisions. In fact, they've already started to rebel against some of them."

"Have you joined the rebellion?"

"Of course! I won't be left behind."

"I never thought of you as a rebellious soul."

"I have my moments," I said, grinning proudly.

"Will you be attending the meeting this afternoon?"

"No, just the one tomorrow morning. What about you?"

"I planned to... but on second thought, I'd rather spend the afternoon with you. If that's okay."

"That would be wonderful!" I exclaimed happily. "But won't it cause problems with the other Alphas?"

"No, not at all. It's common for an Alpha to send their Beta to some meetings—especially those where no serious decisions are made."

"So, how shall we spend the afternoon?" I asked eagerly.

"I might have an idea..." he said playfully, taking my hand.

Alexander started walking ahead, with me following close behind. I couldn't help but admire the strength and grace of his figure as we strolled together.

We left the pack house and headed into the forest. After a short walk, we found ourselves surrounded by lush greenery—towering trees and vibrant flowers stretched as far as the eye could see. I paused for a moment to take it all in. It wasn't that I'd never been in a forest before, but each one has its own unique beauty.

Alexander followed a narrow path, and I did the same, the soft earth muffling our footsteps. The path led us to a small, crystal-clear lake, fed by a cascading waterfall. Alexander started to peel off his clothes.

"What are you doing?" I asked, covering my eyes with my hands.

"How else are we supposed to dive in?" he replied with a teasing grin. He was down to just his boxers, his body sculpted like a Greek god—broad shoulders, chiseled six-pack abs.

"I think I'll stay here. I'll dive later," I said, feeling a bit shy.

"Then you'll miss all the fun," he said, before plunging into the lake and swimming straight to the base of the waterfall.
