Liz walks out of her room and goes into the kitchen to get herself some coffee. Liz walks into the war room and sees Sam by the sink. Liz softly says, "Sam, you, okay?" Sam says, "Yeah, why?" Liz says, "Did you hear from Kevin?" Sam says, "Uh, no. Nothing yet." Dean walks in hearing their conversation and says, "What's it been, like, three weeks? Liz sighs at Dean and Liz says, "You know, you could have a little sympathy for Kevin because translating an ancient language with zero help might be more difficult than you think." Dean sighs and says, "So, no word from Cass, Kevin's taking his sweet little time, and you're acting cagey. We need a lead before I start climbing these walls." Sam says, "Well, um... in that case, I can give you zombies. Guy gets hit by a car, left for dead overnight, guts spilled out all over the road, then gets up and walks away from it." Dean reads the article that Sam gave him and says, "Nothing about brain munching?" Sam looks at Liz and she looks at him confused and until she realizes and says, "Like my mom." Sam says, "Right. She didn't... munch on any brains." Dean says, "Well, who's the witness?" Sam says, "Montana state trooper, 20-year vet. Checked his pulse, saw his insides spilled out all over the place, pronounced him dead with a capital "D."
