Flames flickered and burned atop torches lined on the walls, but the garbage still covered the floors and walls.
"Back here, huh?" Aidan asked. "Welp, might as well." he got up from the swivel chair in front of the screen. He looked up at the torches around the room. "Place changed a bit... Was it because of the fire thing? Probably." Aidan walked over to the garbage, and began kicking and stomping it. Cries and groans erupted from the trash.
"I'm awake! I'm awake! Stop kicking me!" a feminine voice cried from the trash. Aidan plunged his hand into the trash, and grabbed onto the woman's wrist. He yanked her out with extreme strength, causing trash to be scattered even further around the room.
"Who are you?" Aidan threateningly asked the woman.
"A washed-up woman who doesn't need you manhandling her!" the woman tried to free herself, but Aidan's grip was too strong. "You certainly got stronger... Okay, fine. I'm a god, kid. Same as you, now."
"A god?" Aidan paused, letting go of the woman. "Y'know what? Fuck it, sure, whatever. That would explain a lot of what just happened, anyway." Aidan turned around as the monitor lit up. A gray ceiling was shown on the screen. Aidan sat down on the swivel chair and looked at the screen, blacking out a second later.

Aidan awoke to a stiff bed, a gray ceiling and walls, and opaque drapes. The sounds of liquids being mixed together and bubbles popping could be heard on the other side of the drapes.
"Where the hell am I? Did I get kidnapped? Fuuuuuck." Aidan collapsed onto the bed. "Everythin' hurts."
"Oh!" a mature, feminine voice shouted, The drapes were pulled open. "Hey!" a blonde woman looked over the bruised and bloodied Aidan.
"Where am I?" Aidan asked.
"You're in a sickbay." answered the mature woman. "You got your body destroyed in that fight." She had on a muted light green blouse, a gray wool coat, a long, muted dark green skirt that was seemingly layered in a way, like there was a second skirt of the same color, but shorter above the bigger skirt, and brown, steel toe boots. A different piece of her outfit caught Aidan's attention, however. A pair of fingerless, brown gloves with emerald knuckles.
God, that is gaudy as fuck. Aidan thought to himself.
"Hello, Earth to Fire boy!" the woman shouted. Aidan slowly raised his hand.
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" Aidan responded. He lowered his hand in pain. "Oh, oh fuck."
"Yeah, you probably shouldn't destroy your body any further.."
"This sucks." Aidan paused. "So, uh, who are you?"
"I'm Krystal, the woman who saved you."
"Blacked out and now I've been kidnapped, great."
"Hey, be grateful that I dragged my tired ass out there to rescue you, especially with Drew there."
"Fuckin' who? What? I don't care, I can only feel my bones fadin' out of existence."
"Here." Krystal handed Aidan a weird concoction from her desk.
"I don't like where this is goin'." Aidan tried to grab it, but a sharp jolt of pain pierced his arm. "Fuck! Right, forgot."
"Don't worry, just open wide and let me pour it in."
"That... y'know what? Fuck it." Aidan opened his mouth and let her pour the concoction in. The foul odor hit his nose at the same moment the horrible taste hit his tongue. The chunky texture didn't help, either. Aidan swallowed it down as soon as he could. The pain in his body subsided, and his limbs pulsed a little before returning to normal.
